It was another brightful night, the moon was shining upon the hill of Montgomery, I was heading up the hill towards my shack carrying a backpack over my shoulder and with my bow in the right hand, I raise my left hand up to the handle of the door twisting it around proceeding to open the door, heading for the room my sisters were waiting for me.
I gaze upon both Arylne and Kylie the moment I enter the living room with the bow in my hand, they were enjoying a hot coffee in the meantime, I smile at them when I come closer to them saying.
"So...? Where's Angela?" I ask my elder sister Arlyne, leader of our pack gazing at the empty chair, then back at her and Kylie.
"She called me half an hour ago, she told me she's busy, so it's only the three of us." Arlyne stands up gazing upon me with a questioning look in her eyes, saying, "Why did you summon us anyways?"
"This is a very nice question sister, here, take a look." I reach for my backpack with the left hand, drawing out a letter with the seal of the Black Furies on it, handing it to Arlyne afterwards explaining to her what's the deal as she's reading it. "It appears one of our Crones sent me this letter, it's regarding the spirits of the forest nearby Angel Pine, something is bothering them and they require our aid, what do you think?" I gaze from Kylie then back at Arlyne smiling.
Arlyne gives me a short look as she picks her bow and hands Kylie a sword, saying "Lets go then, hop in my vehicle, we will arrive there in no time." I turn around and head for the exit, locking the door afterwards. And so we go, Arlyne twists the key clockwise, turning the engine of her 4x4 on, starting our long journey to the great forest of Angel Pine.
It took us around half an hour or so to arrive in the town of Angel Pine, I gaze upon one of the pedestrians, asking him "Do you know the way we can get inside this forest?". The pedestrian looks at me for a second saying "Turn right then go straight ahead past the factory." I smile at him and say "Thanks." And Arlyne drives off to the deep woods, parking the vehicle in the garage of the old shack there.
I exit the vehicle before she parks it in that garage, taking a glance around myself with a smile on my face. "This is beautiful!" I said gazing at Kylie.
"Indeed it is sister." Kylie looks at me smiling, then back to the forest, Arlyne finally parked her vehicle so here we go, I look back at her and she nods. "Lets do it."
I close my eyes for a few seconds, then channel my Gnosis on creating a portal that pierces through the Gauntlet, I believe it took me about two minutes to open it, I look at the glowing white portal in the dark, smiling then I go through it followed by my sisters, the portal closed right after we stepped in it.
We arrived there almost instantly the moment we entered that portal, I gaze upon the lands of the Wyld, then at the Namer's shack and car, with a smile on my face. "Welcome sisters! The Penumbra!" This was so beautiful, the sky, the flowers, the grass, trees, everything was glowing full of life, then I look to the hill on the left, saying "This way, come."
Once we reach that hill I set my gaze on Kylie for a few seconds then back at the woods. "Can you please announce our presence sister?" She nods, then goes to her wolf, raising her snout up to the sky to release a long Howl of Introduction. I remember she told me how great she felt the moment she howled, like the spirits told her that she's welcome, she felt truly relaxed. She shifts back to her human and there we go, time to leave for the deeper forest.
The moment we pass the hills I check the area for any Wyrmish presence with one of the Gifts my taught to me by my tribemates back in Crete. I look to the girls saying "I sense no /Wyrm/ within these pure lands." The moment I spell the word "Wyrm" the vines surrounding us launch towards my foot, rooting me to the ground, advancing more and more towards the chest area.
I find the necessary strength to shout in the language of the spirits. "Stop! We're here to do no harm towards any of you! We're a pack of Garou of the Black Furies, we're of the Wyld, same like you, please excuse us if we did anything wrong!" The vines return to their former positions the moment I say that, letting us continue our journey, I hear a whisper that came with a breeze of cold air. "The Unnamed scares us, please don't speak of him!" I could sense the frightened tone in that whisper, I nod, then proceed to the trees a few meters away from the hills.I stop looking to the trees that direct their "gaze" towards all of us, so I decide to step forth saying "Greetings to you spirits of the Wyld! We're Garou of the Black Fury tribe, here to offer you our aid in this matter, for the sake of our Mother Gaia." I smile when I say that, waiting for some sort of answer from them, the trees bow lower towards me and the same breeze comes to my ears, whispering. "Hello, look, we truly need your aid, yes, there's a factory at the end of the forest, a factory that belongs to either the Unnamed or the Namer, please help us, it kills our kin day by day and we can't survive like that, we beg you!".
Noticing the situation, I nod then say "I promise you we'll help, in the name of our Mother we shall defend you from them, please, show us the way." Vines rise from the ground, pointing us the way then the breeze returns "Follow this way." We follow the track of the vines, stopping in a glade to rest a little, I bow my head in a sign of respect towards the trees up ahead, they bow down too, as we approach them, then we decide to sit down a little, resting ourselves since it was a long journey to Angel Pine then to the place those trees were.
