Chapter 38

Trent wakes up to water dumbed on his face. He coughs up some blood and jumps to his feet.

Cortney runs over to him and kisses his face all over like a mom does to a little child.

Derrick walks over and punch his brother hard in the face. "That's for breaking my leg." He punches him hard again on the other cheek."And that's for putting my girlfriend in a coma."

I grab Derricks arm and pull him away to cool down. He looks at me with a annoyed look like what the hell is your probably. And I give him a look like you know what my problem is.

We walk over to the four wheeler and I hop on the front and he hops on the back. He opens his mouth to say I shouldn't drive but I take off skidding before he could.

I go to my favorite place up by the cemetery and I drive 50 all the way there knowing if I slow down Derrick will just have me go back to the house so he can beat his brother up sum more.

I see the entrance to the hills that goes up to the cemetery. And I skid around the turn.

I press the gas all the way down and race to the top of the mountain where the cemetery is.

I come to a jolting stop and jump off the four wheeler with Derrick on my heels.

He grabs my arm and goes to pull me into a kiss when I pull away and brake my wrist free.

I walk past him and say,"I don't know why your brothers here or what happened during the accident but nobody else knows what we know and a lot of people are going to start asking questions. And I don't need that right know."

He walks up behind me and stands two inches away from me. I feel his hot breath on my neck and he says in a whisper,"I'm sorry."

I turn around so I'm nose to nose with. And say,"No more talking about the accident."

I walk past him and jump back on the four wheeler. Start it up while Derrick walks over and jumps on the back. I turn around to go down the hill and head back to the house.

We get back and Trent's gone my sisters being stupid and crying her eyes out in the front seat my moms hugging people and saying goodbye.

I pull up next to the truck and turn off the engine. I stand up to get off the four wheeler, when I'm pulled back down by a strong pair of arms and pulled back so I'm laying on his chest.

Derrick whispers in my ear,"I didn't get a kiss yet."

I whisper back ,"I didn't get to stand up to give you a kiss."

Expecting him to take his strong arms off my waist so I can stand up. He doesn't he just holds me there and hugs me to his chest.

I lay back on his should and say," You know how much I want to stay but I have to go home sometime."

He says," I thought this was your home." I say with a smile," Exactly I have to come home eventually."

He let's go of my waist and I stand up and turn around to give him one last kiss in front of everybody. He puts his hand on my cheek and I rap my hands around his neck. I lean into his chest then into his amazing kiss. He puts his soft warm lips to mine and grabs my waist to close the space between us. I feel his hot sweet tongue on my bottom lip and I open my mouth for him to slip it inside he. He moans a little and I smile against his lips. We keep making out in till Raymond pulls us apart.

I lick my lips loving the taste of his kiss but don't let go of his neck. Raymond says sternly to Derrick," Its my turn to say bye to my sunshine." Derrick let's go of my waist respectfully.

Raymond jumps in front of me and and says," A hug a day keeps the doctors away." I smile a big smile and fall into his hug he squeeze me tight and says," I'm gonna miss you sunshine." I squeeze him tighter and say," I'm going to miss you more."

He let's go of me and says," Go say bye to everybody else." I run over to Adam and jump into his hug. He catches me in the air and gives me a big hug.

He puts me down and I walk over to Stephen and give him a hug too. He says," You be good for your mom and stay loyal to your boyfriend." I nod my head and he pulls me into a hug.

I walk over to Susan and give her a big hug too. She tells me to be safe and have a safe drive home.

I give rose and Eddie and big hug and tell them "Happy Anniversary."

Then I walk around to the other side of the truck and find Derrick sitting in my seat. He holds out me ring and says,"Aren't you for getting something." I put my left hand out and he slides the little infinite ring on my finger. I smile at the way it glitters in the sun.

I hop up into the truck and stand between his legs. I say,"I'm forgetting this to." I crash my lips into his and try to make it a short kiss but just get sucked into to his amazing kiss. I use everything in me to pull away from his kiss and I feel sad when the cold hits my lips where his should be. He says," I love you Katelyn King." And he pecks my lips. I smile and say,"I love you more Derrick Chevron. And take care of your leg I want it to be all healed up when I get back along with your face." He says ,"I'll call you every night." I smile and say,"I'll answer every time." He hopes out the truck but turns around and says," And we'll do that thing the next time your back home." I laugh and say,"I cant wait." He gives me one more amazing loving sweet hot kiss and close the doors." My mom starts the engine and we drive away I open the back window and wave to everybody.

I blow Derrick a kiss and he catches it and puts it to his lips. I laugh at him and wave goodbye then I turn around put my seat belt on and prepare my self for the long drive and long time home.
