Tears start pouring out of my eyes I look out the window hoping Stephen won't see me crying. Proving that he's right. I must of been making weeping sounds because next thing I know. He pulls me over in the middle seat and rubs my arm. Between gasp I say," Before you say some...thing .....can you just not say anything." I lay my head on his chest and cry all the way home.

**********Next Morning * * * * * * *

Its the anniversary today. My eyes are all puffy and gross so I run down stairs to get some Advil to make the swelling go down. I run down stairs and run into Stephen. He takes one look at my ruined mascara and puff eyes and says," Get dressed. I'm going to cheer you up." I look at him with my gloomy eyes and say," And how are you going to do that." " No questions get dressed now." He shoves me back up the stairs. "Oh and put something old on," I run up stairs and put some old short shorts on and a T-shirt with some holes in it. When I hear the home phone ring. I ignore it cause nobody would call for me in West Virginia.

Then I here someone call my name I put on my clothes, make up and run to get the phone. I say ," Hello" not excepting for him to call cause I told him not to. He says," Katelyn I'm so sorry can we please just talk." "No Derrick we can't I'm busy you know the anniversary dinner is today. So no I don't have time to talk goodbye." I hang up without blinking. And then it hits me the only person that could help me right now is Shea.

Shea is my best friend she's my basically my sister and she helps me through every thing. I get her number off my phone and call her. She picks up on the first ring knowing I'm the only person who would call from West Virginia. I tell her everything leaving no details out not even the fights. She takes it all in and says," Well do you love him?" "Yea," I say. "Well then you have to at least try to work things out. It doesn't have to be today but soon." I nod knowing that she's right and that Shea is always right. I thank her for her advice. And hang up. Stephen walks up. And says," well what she say." I look at him and say ," Girl stuff, boy drama. You don't want to know." He puts his hands up in surrender and says," Ready for my way of fixing things?" I laugh and say," I think so!!"
