Chapter 44: I Thought

"What is it?" Suho asked sternly. He was afraid but at the same time impatient.

Fifi just stared down on her fingers that keep on fiddling. She was nervous too. She couldn't think anymore. She's scared. She's afraid to tell him her reason because she know that Suho will thought that he had been fool.

Suho slowly approach her with his soft voice telling her, "I'm sorry if I did something wrong but can you just be specific and tell me what is the matter?"

"I hate it," she started. "I hate you. For trusting other girl and not me. I felt betrayed, you know?"

Suho stayed silent. He waited for her to say more. To tell him more than that.

"I thought of giving you a lesson. So I became harsh. The slap that I received from that girl make me realized that I can't always have everything I want. I thought I'll lose you too. Like how I lose my parents and hometown. You're just the same," she continued.

"She slapped you?" He asked.

"I thought you'd know about it. How could you not care? When I ran away, where were you? You make me to believe that I am alone. You make me to believe that promises are just one of your game. I thought you're different and understanding, but no. You're just the same. I hate you," she said with tears forming in her eyes. Those words are so hard to be said.

"Fifi -"

"No. I'm not Fifi," she sternly said. "I will never be like the usual Fifi you'd known. I am Kim Hyorin. The girl who never know you just yet. We are strangers."

"No, no, no! I'm - sorry! I - am - very sorry. Please, forgive me," Suho begged.

"But then, Kim Hyorin doesn't suit me as well. Since I don't want to treat you like a stranger too. Is it friend?" She asked.

"No," Suho softly answered feeling his heart slowly aching.

"I'm sorry for saying this too late but at least I got to say," she showed a small smile. "I am not Fifi nor am I Kim Hyorin. I'm yours.

"Suho, I never let any hour passed by without my mind not thinking of you," she smiled slowly approaching him and hug him tightly. "I need and love you. Thank you."

Then she handed her gift to him with a smile. "Happy birthday."

Suho felt flustered but happy. He slowly wrapped his arms around her. He couldn't hide his smile any longer. He thought she broke the hug because he can feel how her arms start to loosen from him.

But just then, she collapsed in his arms. He was shocked and remembered that she have a fever. He start to panic as he call for help.

Meanwhile...

"Ah! It's so fresh outside here," Aay stretch her arms. "Oh, Zee, how was your foot after you trip?"

"I told you I am fine," she answered.

"I hope everything's fine now," Sehun said as he climbed up the trampoline followed by some of the others.

"It will be fine unless those two pair of loverbirds won't start a fight too," Luhan pointed out to Chanyeol with Aay and Kai with Lily.

"I feel offended," Lily scoffed.

"You always feel like that," Luhan trolled.

"You guys should stop that or else it may lead to something you don't know," Kris warned.

"I hope they'll listen but -" Xiumin was being cut off immediately by both of their voices.

"I did?" Lily asked raising her voice.

"You're unbelievable," he scoffed.

"As if you're not," she rolled her eyes.

"You wench witch -"

"YAH!"

Everyone turned their head towards the person who just shouted and surprisingly - it was - Zee.

"Is fighting a daily routine in your life now?" She asked innocently.

She got no answer afterwards. It wasn't that they were scared to answer her. Its just that, she's right.

"Fighting with different gender sometimes may lead to falling in love, you know?" Zee smirked.

"W-what?" Lily stuttered.

"That's what I meant," Kris said.

"Think about it, guys," she said before sitting down on the fresh green grass and hugged her knees.

She start to hum a song as she stare up at the sky. A smile was formed on her face for some reason. Everyone did their own work as Luhan and Lily zip their mouth. They never dare to say a word afterwards.

"You hear that right? Think about it," Chen repeated.

"Yeah. You might caught up in the same situation like Chen and Raewoo," Lay teased.

"Y-yah," Chen stuttered in disbelief.

"You talked as if I am not here," Kai rolled his eyes.

"Oh, you're here all along?" Sehun teased.

"Geez," Kai glared as the rest laughed.

"Zee -" someone called out but got interrupted.

"Guys! Help me! Fifi fell unconscious!" Suho panicked as he rushed back inside.

Everyone rushed inside immediately after hearing him but Aay accidentally kicked a rock making her to jump while rubbing her foot.

"Ouch!" She winced.

"Are you okay?" Chanyeol who heard her immediately asked.

"I'm fine, let's go," she said bearing the little pain and rushed inside.

"We need to bring her to the hospital!" Lay suggested.

"I think so too. Her fever might get worst," Xiumin said.

They hurry and set the car on. They divided among their selves. Suho, Xiumin, Lily, Aay, Lay and Chanyeol decided to follow Fifi to the hospital. The car was fully occupied but then...

"How about me?" Zee asked. "Are you going to leave me alone here when my sister is sick and you brought her to the hospital without me?" She pointed to herself. "Ouch."

"If that's so -" Chanyeol got cut off.

"Never mind. I'm just kidding. Just give a call if something happen," Zee reminded.

"But -"

"Park Chanyeol," she called his full name before showing a small smile.

Just by hearing his name, he never dare to protest. So he just sit in the car and wait until it drove off. As soon as the car set off, Zee sighed and walked inside with the others following her.

Everyone looked around the place and realized something.

"What do we do with these now? The foods are all getting cold and untouched," Tao pointed out.

"It's effortless," Kyungsoo sighed.

"Oh? What is this?" Sehun asked as he bend down on the floor and picked up something. "A gift?"

"Maybe it's Fifi's," Baekhyun said.

"You guys should help her to give it to Suho," Zee said. "Ahh.. what do we do now? They will be waiting for Fifi to discharge and it maybe tomorrow or the next day."

"We should clean everything off," Kris sighed as he took of the banners.

They all agreed and clean everything off.
