Chapter 2: A hint

Upon opening their eyes, it was all blurry. They adjusted their sight and soon realized what just happened.

"What's happening? Where are we?" Asked Tao.

"I don't know. I saw a time bomb earlier," said Xiumin.

Everyone looked around with their mouth gaping in surprise.

"Is this Earth? I mean are we still on Earth?" Asked Zee.

"This... Is... Terrible," Chen uttered.

The Earth that was usually bright with sun and cool with wind suddenly changed into a dull and dark place. Every plants died and there were no human around except them. There were no beautiful buildings like before. They were all destroyed.

"This is not Earth. This is not Earth," Sehun repeatedly said while shooking his head in disbelief.

"Wow," Fifi uttered. "This is a real nightmare."

"We should look around. Maybe we will found something?" Lay suggested.

They all agreed as they started to walk around. All clean water was changed into black liquid. Disgusting. That's the word to describe it. The houses were all destroyed including theirs.

"No houses. No hopes," Raewoo sighed.

"Erm... actually there's one house that survived," Kris pointed towards a big, like an abandoned house.

"That's my house!" Raewoo exclaimed as she ran towards her house. "Come on! Follow me!"

As soon as they reached in front of the house, they gulped looking at how scary it looks like from the outside. They looked at each other unsure if it was really a safe house or not. It was like one of the house in that horror movie.

"Is this what you call as your house? It looks scary," Baekhyun said.

"Well, don't judge my house from the outside. You need to see the inside first!" She smiled happily. She opened the door to her house and invited everyone inside.

When they saw the inside of the house, they looked around in awe.

"Daebak!" Aay uttered.

"Wow. You left me speechless," Chen said.

"I told you to not judge my house from the outside," she said as she locked the door.

Indeed, her house was like a hotel. It has luxurious tile and even though it looks scary from the outside, the inside was very beautiful.

"Now, all of you need to clean all of your bruises!" She beamed while instructing them.

"And you still can be happy in this kind of a situation?" Chen asked. "Unbelievable."

One by one, Lay started to heal them. After, they rested anywhere they wanted like it was their house. Zee looked outside of the window spacing out too much. The Earth has dark sky and everything were destroyed. Everyone disappeared just like that.

"You okay?" Baekhyun suddenly interrupted her thoughts

"Oh. Yeah. I'm fine. Just thinking about something," she said still looking outside.

"It's weird to think about it again. What's happening actually?" He said.

"Everything goes by too fast," Zee mumbled. "Wait, is that?" She said pointing at something outside.

"Eh? Is that a human?" Asked Baekhyun.

Immediately, Zee and Baekhyun rushed outside of the house towards the people. As soon as both of them reached them, they looked at each other surprised.

"Mrs Lee and Mr Kim?" Both of them gasped.

"Heo Sanghwa and Byun Baekhyun?" Mrs Lee and Mr Kim gasped too.

"Err.. Follow us here," Zee led the way back to the house.

If you remember, Mrs Lee was their old homeroom teacher for class 3A in the past. While Mr Kim was the boys' music teacher. They're both angels too. They brought both of their teachers to Raewoo's house.

Upon opening the door of the house, everyone was busy asking why they went out but after seeing their teachers, they gasped too.

"T-teacher," Lily stuttered.

"It had been a really long time right?" Smiled Mrs Lee.

"Both of you are angels right?" Asked Luhan and Mr Kim and Mrs Lee nodded. "So angels got to survive?"

And that was when everyone start to rethink about it.

"Maybe Luhan is right," Suho agreed.

Fifi cleared her throat and everyone averted their attention at her. "Are we angels?" She asked.

"Oh. Right," Luhan said realizing that they're not angels anymore.

"Oh my God! Maybe all four of you have been fooled. Maybe you still have that amazing powers of yours but you just don't know that you have them!" Tao freaked out.

"And why would you freak out?" Asked Lily.

"It had already been 3 months and it's confirmed we don't have that usual power that we used to have," Aay said.

"I don't know why but the situation right now sounds similar to the story that I recently read," Raewoo said.

"Really? Where's that book? Maybe it has a solution in there," Chen asked.

"Wait. Let me take it first," Raewoo said as she rushed upstairs.

"Mrs Lee, can't you see what's happening in the near future?" Asked Zee.

"I can't. I suddenly can't use my power," Mrs Lee answered.

"Something weird is happening now but what?!" Kris shouted.

"Stressing out won't solve anything," Chanyeol said.

They waited for awhile sitting down on the sofa. Not long after, footsteps were heard rushing downstairs. Raewoo rushed towards them with a dusty, old looking book on her hands. She put it on the table as all of them crowded around the table.

"Seriously?" Chen started. "You read this book?"

"Yeah, why? Is it a sin to read this book?" Raewoo fought back.

"Actually, I like this book. It looks unique and I am really interested to read it," Lily said still eyeing the book. "Where do you get this book from?"

"From the basement. Actually, I don't even know if there is any basement. When I have a tour around this house, like a week ago, I was too curious why there is a bell beside the cabinet over there," she pointed towards the bell beside an untouched cabinet. "When I pulled the rope, it was actually a secret passage."

"Wow. That sounds interesting. We should go there too," Chen decided.

"Sure!" Raewoo agreed.

All of them agreed as Raewoo led the way towards the bell. She pulled the rope and all of a sudden, the cabinet moved backward a bit then to the side. They walked inside and realized there was a stair. Raewoo turned on the lights then led the way downstairs. When they reached the the basement, all jaws dropped to the ground. They can't even believe what they saw.

It's a hint.
