10.Rest and Refreshments

I didn't sit down and kept walking on even though I was really hungry and thirsty and in the distance I saw a house...

I squealed in excitement and made my way to the house in happiness but when I got closer I saw it was all run down and old but I knocked on the door anyway and nobody answered so I made my way around the side of the house to see if anyone was back there but nobody was.I was about to cry but I saw a tap on the side of the house and some old empty bottles and realized their was a back garden.

For the next hour I lay down on the grass in the backyard and drank loads of water and rinsed and filled up the bottles.I also ate some food and felt a lot better.I was away and I found water.I'm also happy I found a house so if it begins to rain,I could creep inside.

I noticed there were also a small tool shed on the other side of the small garden.The door kept opening slightly but I ignored it.It was a breezy type of day anyway.No use freaking out about nothing and this house looks around 50 years old.

I also realised that if there is a house here - A road must be close..

Maybe a road leading to a town

I packed up my stuff again and made on my way again.I didn't feel comfortable staying there for long or sneaking in to the house.My dad and uncle may look here.I didn't want to take any foolish chances.

I was much happier walking now and I felt refreshed as I made my way down the road and I saw a car in the distance and my heart raced in excitement but then it dropped.

I recognised that car.
