Kurapika x reader- Neighbour

'Date'

- Well I expected that she'll fall asleep. Kurapika said. I'll leave the food in the fridge and she'll eat it tomorrow.

He putted it there and was about to leave. 'I can't leave the door unlocked and I can't leave her alone... ' he thought. 'I'll stay here for the night.'

He went to your room to see of you. 'She sleeps so peaceful.' He was about to lean forward again but he suddenly stoped. 'I can't just kiss her out of the blue... I need to restain myself.'
He went on your laptop and stayed in your room. Until he fell asleep he looked at photos from when you were little. 'She was so cute and still is...'

In the morning.

You woke up feeling better. It was 9 AM. You were felling so good that you won't go to school today and also you didn't said a word to your bestfriend about it, you hoped she won't be mad.

- Oops I forgot about Kurapika and I just went to sleep. ~rumbling~ and I still need to eat something.

When you were about to get out of bed, you saw Kurapika sleeping on a chair with your laptop on his lap and his head on the side of your bed.

' He stood with me the whole night?? He could just go home, he didn't had to stay with me, he must have college tomorrow. Buf I feel happy that he cares for me. I should repay him.'

You've gone to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. You weren't that good at cooking but you've tried your best to do your best breakfast ever for him.

After 1 hour of trying you finally made it and it also tasted good.

- Are you feeling better? a sleepy Kurapika said.

' His sleepy voice is soo cute.' you thought.

- Yeah, a lot better. Thanks to you. I made breakfast to show my gratitude. I hope you'll like it.

He was scratching his sleepy eyes. He still looked skeepy.

- You didn't slept well last night? I am sorry, you didn't had to stay with me all night. you said worried.

- I only slept for 2 hours... You looked just too cute while sleeping... he said with a lower voice.

- What? I didn't understood the last part. you said corious about what he said.

-I said... you were cute when you were little. :>

- Why would you look at those?? And how did you found them??

- It was a folder on your laptop and I just clicked on it... he said smiling mischievous.

- Why you... Anyway, you said trying to calm down, your breakfast is ready, please have a seat.

He sat down at the table. When he took the first bite you were staring at him waiting for his reaction. He wasn't saying anything so you just asked him.

- Is it good? you asked excited waiting for his response.

- Yeah, it's really good! Sorry I am just to sleepy and I didn't realised... he apologised.

- I am so glad you like it. I worked so hard to do this. I felt bad that you stood almost all night watching over me.

- No problem, I am just glad you feel better.

You responded with a smile.

- You don't have to go somewhere today? Like college or something.

- I'll tell them I felt bad so I couldn't go.

- Aren't they going to get mad at you?

- No, I think...

- I hope they won't, because it will be all my fault if you'll get scolded... you said looking sad.

- You don't have to feel bad. It's my fault not yours. Well if you and I have a free day what do you want to do? you asked looking excited to spend a day with him.

- I don't know... We can watch a movie or something.

- Sounds good, what movie do you want to watch?

- Well something funny or something scarry? I don't know.

- Hmm.... Let's watch something scarry. I really like those. You actually are really scared when watching horror movies but you wanted to look tought in front of him.

- Ok , I'll go and search for a movie.

After you've finished your breakfast you've washed the dishes while Kurapika was searching for a movie. ' I hope he won't find somehing too scary....' you thought worried while washing the dishes

-(Y/N), I found something, it doesn't look that scary but it has a nice story, that what I read.

-Ok, coming. you you dried your hands and gone to your room.You made yourself comfortable and Kurapika sat next to you.

The whole movie he couldn't help but look at you. You didn't realised it, you were too focused at the movie.' He said it wasn't that scary, he lied!!' When you were watching it you put your head on his shoulder, you just felt safer like this. At your reaction he blushed and wanted to put his arm around you, but he decided not to. At all the jumpscares you just covered your eyes or burried your face on his chest. He couldn't concentrate at the movie because of you.

After the movie ended, he asked if you liked it.

-You've liked it? You were a little scared the whole movie.

- Y-yeah, it w-was g-good.

- You don't like horror movies do you?

- N-no, w-why would y-you say t-that? you said trying to stop trembling.

- If you don't like those kind of movies why didn't you said something...

- I don't really know...

You discussed about the movie and when you looked at the clock it showed 5 PM.

- I should go home to see of my furniture. If you need something don't hesitate to call me. he said.

- Yeah, thank you for everything.

- You sure are ok now? he said worried. If you're too scared to sleep alone after that movie you can tell me. he said with a grin on his face.

- I am not a baby you know!! I can sleep alone, I know ghosts aren't real! you said angry.

- Ok, ok if you say so.

Before he left you put a little kiss an his cheek.

- This is my thank you gift. you said smiling.

He remained there speechless and blushing. He then grabbed you in a hug.

- K-kurapika, is something wrong?
