Taking a deep breath, I opened my eyes to see my ceiling. Wait... That definitely wasn't my ceiling. Remembering that a teardrop escaped last night in front of Kol wasn't horrifying enough, as I hadn't cried since I was 8, I remembered him hugging me. That's it. I must of fallen asleep in his arms. Then, maybe I was in his room? But why wouldn't he of just put me in my bed. Unless... He did something. Flying out of the bed into a standing position, I calmed down when I realised that Kol wasn't in the bed. However there was no sign of him anywhere in the room. Sneaking to the door, I listened to the voices come from the downstairs dining room. Completely blocking my exit.Deciding that it was embarrassing enough that Kol had seen me in my pajamas, I couldn't go down and see an extremely good looking set of family and friends in them. I headed back onto his balcony, wishing that I could apparate to my balcony. Looking back at the door, making a final decision that under no circumstances was anyone in that family seeing me in these, especially Kol again. Glancing to the side I see very unstable set of fire escape ladders leading from his balcony. I timidly and silently climbed down the fire escape to the slightly busy street.

Darting across the road, dodging cars, and into my apartment, I grabbed some clothes and crawled to my bathroom, hoping that if Kol had come back to his room he wouldn't be able to see me through the window as I made in to the closed off room. Changing into my exceedingly oversized jumper/dress with high knee socks and some boots, I smacked my makeup on before peering around the corner to look out of the invasive widow doors to see Kol wasn't in his room. Taking this opportunity to grab my phone, keys, bag and an apple I set off to the other side of New Orleans. Mission 1, avoid Kol Mikaelson. Mission 2, avoid the supernatural. I my walk through the city I came across some sort of forest/bayou. Feeling rather relieved, I decided taking a hike would be a perfect way to accomplish my missions and have time to clear my head, let the fact that yesterday I found out that witches, werewolves, vampires and hybrids are real. The early morning past in to mid-afternoon which led to late evening, when the sun disappeared I decided I would slowly head back home. Heading back to civilisation, I found the street and dawdled my way back to the French Quarter. Keeping my eyes open for anything unusual, and clutching my bag I headed home thankful for my day off, however dreading work the following day. Reaching my street, not seeing any Mikaelson around I hurry to my apartment block and run up the stairs to my door.

Opening it up, I locked the door behind me and sat down reaching for my phone. Turning it back on I found that I had 96 messages, 67 missed calls. Noticing that a few of them were from my Grandma I instantly called her, worried that something had happened either with her health or Christopher. The phone answered after a few rings, however it wasn't Grandmas voice on the other end. It was a woman's, she answered saying "Hello, is this the Granddaughter?" I replied back with a yes and questioned her warily as to whom she was. She then explained that she was a nurse at Florida Hospital in Orlando. This stunned me since the last time I spoke to my Grandma she was still living, as she has all her life, on the outskirts of London in a little cottage. The nurse carried on stating that she unfortunately had a minor heart attack. I was stunned. After we had discussed what exactly happened and how she was doing we hung up after I said I would be there as soon as I could, we hung up. I immediately found a car hire company and rented a car for two weeks, at an affordable price. I packed a bag, and headed out to get my new hire car. As I was walking down bourbon street, heading to the place I had arranged to put clothes up the car I went back on my phone to call Cami, who had been calling me persistently.

"Where the hell have you been?" Cami exclaims in panic! Shock fills me as I look down at the phone in confusion, I had barely time to put the phone to my ear before she answered and started yelling. "I've been out, why?" I asked hearing a deep sigh coming from the phone. "Well Kol mentioned what happened last night but came charging down stairs saying that you had gone. We've all been looking for you all day, ringing you none stop but your phone went straight to voice mail. We thought something really bad happened to you! Even Klaus was worried and out searching!" Cami ranted. After telling her that I had just been out for the day, and that I was fine she then rang Klaus telling him that I'm fine. "Hey Cami.." I stated, thinking I should tell her about leaving for a bit, as this was her reaction for one day, I'd hate to see her if I left town without mentioning. "I'm actually heading out of town for a bit, my last family is in hospital and I'm worried so I'm going visiting. Is it alright if you cover my shift?"
"Of course, that's no problem. I'm sorry about your family, I hope that they are ok. But if you don't mind me asking, why didn't you stay this morning? Where have you been all day? Are you ok?" Knowing that these questions were coming, I took a deep breath and prepared my answer. "To be honest, I don't think I'm ok. A lot of memories are coming back, memories that I have worked hard at forgetting. With everything that has just been revealed in the last few days, it's a lot to take in. But I'll be fine in a couple of days. After I've checked in with my Grandma and made sure she's ok, I'll be back. And this morning, well I don't know what Kol told you about last night, but I just didn't feel like being teased about staying in his room. Nothing happened but I just didn't need it... How is he?" I ask with curiosity, hoping that he's not angry at me for avoiding him and sneaking out, imagine me for a one night stand I don't think I'd last the morning after! Cami replied explaining that he was just worried, and freaked at my disappearing act when nobody could find you, but he's ok now he knows your fine. We ended our conversation, with "I love you's" because we are weird, as I had reached the car hire place. After signing some papers I shoved my bag into the back, and took to the drivers seat. With my fake ID I took the test a couple of years ago and learnt how to drive, for practical reason. Turning the keys in the ignition, my 11 hour journey commenced.
