Nat's POV

I wake up, it's 10am Saturday. Ahhhh weekends, I love weekends! I go into the bathroom to freshin up. I take a shower, brush my teeth, and the rest of the usual. I curl my hair into waves, and put a white headband in. I get dressed into a floral dress, and my favorite pair of converse. I walk downstairs and make myself breakfast. When I'm done eating I leave a note on the table:

Dear Mom,

I went out for inspiration, on what to make for the cook off. If you need me just give me a call.

I get into my car, and drive. I go to the mall. I see lots of stores, but only one stands out to me. A cook shop. I walk in and see Austin!!!! He just waves. I look at a bunch of cook books. I see one that would be perfect. Its for complicated meals. I grab the book the same time Austin does, and our hands touch. We both blush a little bit. Does he like me!? No, why would he like me I'm the enemy, and so is he.

Austin's POV

Our hands meet. I blush like crazy. She is blushing a little bit too. Does she have a feelings for me!? Wait, why would she, she thinks of me as a rival. I'm not even supposed to have feelings for her! I'm supposed to beat her, she is the opponent! Ugh! I just notice we are both staring at each other. I'm looking down, she is looking up. Since I'm taller. Haha! We start to move closer. I think we are going to kiss! No!!!! I move away, and grab another copy of the cook book. I go look at other books. I purchase the books, and go home. I try not to think about what happened.

Nat's POV

We were going to kiss!!!!!!!!!!! That can not, absolutely can not happen!!! I buy the cook book and a few others. By the time I'm done its 12:30 and I'm starving. I walk into the food court, and find a woman hading out free samples. I take one and say whats in it. The woman is surprised, but i just walk away. I get a sandwich from Subway. It tastes so good. I finish my sub and see a Forever 21 shop. I love Forever 21. I stroll in, and pick up a few items. When I'm all done in the mall and getting into the car its about 1:30. Wow I didn't realize how long everything took. I still can't stop thinking about me and Austin almost kissing! I get home and run up to my room with my bags. I text Julie, and ask her if she can skype. We skype and I tell her everything. 

"Wow. I feel sorry for you." She says

"Don't be. Part of me wanted to kiss him. The other part still thought of him as the enemy, and wanted to crush him into the ground." I say saddly.

"Hey I gotta go. Dinner. I'll text you later okay." She tells me. I nod and say goodbye. I'm shocked that it's already time for dinner. I call Dominos pizza. I order pizza for my family and I. When I'm done eating I go to bed thinking about Austin, the cook off, school, and a bunch of other shit that's in my head. Sunday went by quickly. I hung out with Julie and Chloe at the movies, and work on perfecting my cooking skills for the cook off. All while still thinking of Austin. God why can't I get my mind off him!
