It's been four days. Four days without eating. Four days without contact with anyone. Four days of just crying and thinking. Six hands banging on the door. "Open up, brother!" Kamui begs in a shaky voice, almost crying. "Darling! Please open!" Bayonetta tries busting the door open with her Wicked Weaves. "Corrin!" Cloud yells from the other side of the door. Corrin bolts up when he heard Cloud's voice. He walks up to the door. "Leave me alone. I might be starving and lonely... But I'm okay." He touched the door and went back to his bed.
Two days later
Six days without eating. Corrin sighed and teared up. "I'm so hungry... So lonely... Kamui... Bayonetta..." He tried getting up and walked to the door and unlocked it before falling. "Mr. Strife..." A few hours later Kamui went to go check on him. "Brot—" She pushed the door that was surprisingly opened. She glanced over at Corrin clutching his stomach, shedding tears. "Corrin!" She ran to him and held him in her arms. "Kamui... I'm sorry for all of this. I'm sorry for locking you out for six days." He hugged her tightly and she does the same back. Bayonetta walks in and gasp. "I'll go get something for him to eat!" She races to the kitchen and got a plate of Peach's cake. She gets a cup and fills it up with water. Cloud walks in from outside. "You need help?" He asks and she nods giving him the water.
"Follow me!" They both race up stairs to Corrin's room. Kamui cut a piece of cake and fed her younger brother. They put him into bed and crowed him as Cloud stood in the back. "Can I speak to him?" Both ladies leave the room. The prince looks away as Cloud got closer. "P-please. Just leave." He covers his face. "Corrin... Stop it. You're scaring me." Cloud touched his hand and pulled it away from his face. "So... Was all of that true?" Cloud asks as he held Corrin's hands. He nods and looked away. "Look at me." He put his hand on his shoulder and hugged the prince as tight as he could.
"I..."
"You hate me and don't feel the same."
"No, Corrin, I-"
"Please. Mr. Strife."
"Corrin I love you as much as you love me."The blonde looked at him straight in the eyes. "Mr..." Before he could say Strife he was cutoff. "I don't care what they think. I love you. And only you. You don't need that book anymore. You have me now." He squeezed him tightly with his arms. "And now I have you in my embrace and I will never let you go!" Corrin gasped at all of this. "Mr. Strife! I-I'm speechless... I didn't know I just... I-I just. For six days... I did this all for you to care. I was embarrassed that day! I just... Forget it." He hugged back and let go. Cloud nuzzled Corrin's cheek.
"Now you need to eat. I don't want you to get sick."
Corrin ate and drank everything in a small matter of time. "Thank you, Mr. Strife." He smiles and looks over at the solider. "Hmm.. Calling your lover by his last name isn't so appropriate. Call me Cloud." He took a chair and put it by Corrin's bed. He sat down and put the cup and plate on his lap. "I haven't slept in days... I'm so sleepy." Cloud yawns and looks at the prince. "I've been worrying about you for so long. You've been running in my mind for so long too... And I just needed to catch you. So now that you're here... I will be your companion." Corrin gets out of bed and puts Cloud in.
"May we come in?" Bayonetta opens the door and walks in with Corrin's nod. The two males held hands and looked at each other. Cloud's straight face formed a bright smile. Corrin gasped quietly, smiling back. Bayonetta smirked from behind and gave those two a moment longer. Kamui smiles to see his brother and his crush, now boyfriend, together. "I love you, Cloud." Corrin whispered sitting on the chair. It was the first time he had ever called Strife by his first name. "I love you too, Corrin." They hugged before sleeping together.
