Chapter 18

Matt's POV

When Taylor said he got a text from Shawn saying Laken woke up I immediately got up and ran out the door. I would've stayed with Laken, but she could only have family stay with her and Shawn just had to say he was her brother. The nerve of some people. Anyways, we all got loaded into the van, went to Chick-Fil-A, and went to the hospital.

We were walking down the long hallway to Laken's room. I was so nervous. When I walked in, I saw Laken taking to Shawn. I couldn't help but feel a ping of jealousy. As soon as she saw me her eyes lit up. I hope that was a good sign. I couldn't contain myself anymore, I speed walked over to her and placed my lips on hers. She didn't pull away. So I guess that's good. I heard a fake cough coming from behind me. Of course it was Cameron. I shot him a dirty look and turned back to Laken. "I'm so glad you're okay," I said. "Well, I wasn't about to leave all of my best friends," she replied. Wait, did I just get friend zoned. I sure hope I didn't. We just kinda sat there and stared at each other. It wasn't awkward. It was comfortable.

Laken's POV

I'm glad Matt finally got the guts to kiss me. That sounded so weird but oh well. I looked around the room and saw all of my best friends looking at me with huge smiles plastered on their faces. I saw Marlie and Nash in the corner smiling and laughing with each other. I'm so glad Marlie found someone who she loves and who loves her. I saw to my left Olivia and Johnson talking. I'm glad they get along. They were in a deep conversation, I saw both of their eyes grow wide. Then they left. Huh, so much for their best friend in the hospital.

Olivia's POV

I am so freaked out currently. I was just having a normal conversation with Johnson, when he asked me about my parents. I explained how my mom left my father and I when I was a baby. He told me about how his dad left him and his mother. I showed him a picture of my dad and he showed me a picture of his mom. His mom looked just like my mom. Or at least the pictures my dad showed me. He claimed my father looked almost identical to his dad. Not to mention the fact that we have the same last name. We decided to go to a nurse and ask her if she could do a DNA test.mshe agreed and took us back to a room to get a blood sample. We cooperated, then she left to go analyze the tests. She came back and Jack was crushing my hand. I shot him a look and he loosened his grip. "Congratulations Mr. and Miss Johnson, you have found your twin!" she told us. I can't believe it. I'm Jack Edward Johnson's twin sister.
