Strange New World

I fell in a cluster of really tall trees, breaking my fall. Man, my head is killing me now. I stand up, brush the stuff off of me, and start walking through the woods.

After a few minutes, I find my wrecked escape pod.

I let out a huge sigh, and approach the wreckage, "I'm so getting shattered for this."

The sound of footsteps make me pause in my tracks. I hear a faint male voice, "I heard the crash this way! C'mon guys!"

I draw my bow and arrow from my gem, and draw, ready to fire.

"Dipper! Slow down, my feet can't take it much longer."

"Don't get too far ahead, we don't know what crashed."

Three figures emerged from the foliage, but they didn't see me immediately. They poked around the wreck, until the old one spotted me.

"Stop right there!" He cried, and pulled some sort of gun from his coat.

"Woah! Great Uncle Ford! What are you- WOAH, HEY!" The boy screeched.

I yell to the old one, "Put your weapon down!"

"You drew on me first!"

I hesitate, and let the bow dissolve. I gesture to his gun, "Now you."

He begrudgingly puts it back into his coat.

The girl looks at the pod, and then back to me, "Is that yours?"

"Yeah. Well, not anymore I guess. It's wrecked," I say, walking over to the junk pile.

I feel the old one's eyes follow me. "Are you from off planet?"

"Yes, I am. I'm Sapphire."

The boy waves, "I'm Dipper, Dipper Pines. Nice to meet you."

"I'm Mabel," the girl smiles.

"And I'm Stanford, Ford for short."

"Nice to meet you all. Now, can you tell me where the heck I am?"

Dipper gets a puzzled look on his face, "Like generally, or specifically?"

I shrug, "Whatever gets the point across fastest."

Ford crosses his arms, "You're on Earth."

Mabel crouches next to me, "Sapphire, welcome to Gravity Falls!"

I am literally so much happier with these new chapters, it's fantastic!
