(Hey! This is another one! Talk to ya later! Sorry for any wrong grammar. BRB!)

/January 21, 2030; 7:35 am, Silva Utopia- Forest~ Vesgate Lawton's POV/

"H-hello," I greeted awkwardly. "My name is Vesgate Lawton." I bowed.

"Yeah, I've heard of you," he nodded. "You are the chosen one, right?"

"Apparently, I am," I said. "...You said your name's Samuels, right?"

"Yep. But just call me Sams," he grinned. I don't even know if I should be scared or happy to his smile. To be honest, his smile is kind of creepy and kind of not in the same time.

"Okay, Sams...What exactly are we going to do now?" I asked, cocking my head in curiosity.

"Well...Those spirits you were talking to tasked me to be your assistant on your investigations, so...I'll offer you my assistance if you need it," he told me. "But...If you don't need my help, I'll just fly by near and, you know, lay down in the air or somewhere. I do that because I love doing absolutely nothing."

When he mentioned 'flying by' and 'laying down in the air', he floated and lay down in the air, as if there was a bed there. There were blue energy or auras emitting from his body, I think. I screamed in shock after seeing him float. Hey! It's not everyday you'll encounter this kind of stuff!

"W-what...? What's wrong?" he asked lazily, as if what he was doing right now is normal.

"W-what are you?!" I shouted nervously.

"Oh! You mean this?" he asked, assuming that I was shocked about him suddenly floating. "You know...Just some regular ghost powers." he shrugged.

"Ghost? You mean, you're a deceased man's soul?!" I asked.

"Well, technically, I am not 100 percent a soul because you could totally touch me. I'm more like a zombie actually," he explained. "But I could turn into one if I want to."

I regained my composure and asked, "How did you...pass away, anyway? It's okay if you don't want to talk about it."

"I...don't actually remember myself, but...the ancient spirits said that I was exposed on a deadly element called Necronium," he answered while standing up on the ground again. He looked really sad.

"Why...were you killed?" I asked sadly.

"That, I do not know," he looked down to the ground. "I actually can't remember anything after I died...But if I could actually just know something from my past or why I was killed, I could rest in peace now."

"Sorry," I apologized. But then, I had an idea. "What if after this case, I'll go to the police department and search for your case file? That way, I could bring justice to your death!"

"Really?!" he looked up. "You'd do that?"

"That's why I offered you," I pointed out. "So, do you agree?"

"Oh! Thank you, thank you, thank you!" he suddenly hugged me. It made me blush, a bit. I'm just not used to close contact, that's all.

"Now!" he said. "Let's finish this case already! That criminal is gonna have a bad time!"

"Maybe we should go to the crime scene now," I suggested.

"Yeah. Just follow me," he smiled and floated away. With that, I followed along.

Okay! I am back from my very busy week! There was just too much to do. Hmph! Well, anyways, I officially closed the character forms now. It has been updated, so go check it out!

If you didn't get the reference that I was talking about from the previous part, the reference was Sams, well I just realized that he wasn't just a reference, more like, inspired by or based on the character Sans from the game—Undertale.

We'll get on to the real investigation part in next chapter.

Well that's it for now! As always: Stay cool, coolsies! PEACE OUT! *wink*
