Brian:

Kay pulled into The Sports Authority's parking lot. She turned off the radio and smiled at me.

"Are you ready, Brian Meyers?" she said in a sports voice. I nodded in response. We both got out of the car. Kay turned to me.

"Race you to the door?'" she asked.

"Oh its on." I said laughing. She smirked at me and adjusted the sunglasses on her face.

"Ready? Set? Go!" she yelled and we took off full blast across the parking lot. People stared at us as we ran laughing and tripping over each other. When she started tp get ahead of me, I grabbed her by her waist and lifted her off her feet. She squealed and kicked.

"Brian! Put me down!" she said through fits of laughter.

I just hoisted her over my shoulder and sauntered over to the main door. I put her down and she clenched her stomach.

"Okay, shall we?" I said in a very formal voice, holding the door for her.

"We shall, thank you my good man." she replied

We headed right to the baseball department and went crazy looking for cleats, hats, gloves, socks, shirts, and pants.

I had put on a Yankees t-shirt when I heard a "Brian."

I Looked over my shoulder and saw Dani walking toward us with her friend Fawn.

"Hey." I said kissing her lightly.

"Hello, Kayleen. How are you?' Dani said sweetly.

Kay smiled back and said a simple, "Fine, and yourself." She was clearly not happy Dani showed up. It was a bit unusual, Dani doesn't play sports.

And I have to admit, I was a bit disappointed that Dani showed up too. I mean, today was meant for some hang out time for me and Kay.

"We were just going to pay." I said breaking the silence and the glare between Kay and Dani.

"Really? Well, we were just passing and I thought wed say hi."

"That's very nice of you." Kay said sweetly.

"Well, where are you going next?" She asked.

I froze. I couldn't lie to my girlfriend, but at the same time I just wanted to hang out with Kay. I didnt know what to do.

"We were going to get Kay a dress for the upcoming dance." I lied. I decided on lying becuase I guess since Kay's now dating Jesse, I wouldnt get to hang with her that much. Kays head snapped toward me.

"It was going to be a surprise." I said to Kay.

"Well, maybe we could help?" Fawn said.

"You know what? That'd be great! We were going to H&M. Well meet you there."

"Ok, bye babe." Dani said kissing my cheek.

They walked off, Fawn tossing her hair over her shoulder.

"Ok, they re gone," I said turning to Kay. "Now we can go anywhere, except H&M."

Her eyes widened and she slapped my chest grinning. "You jerk! You totally lied to your girlfriend! You're such a creep!"

I laughed and caught her wrists. She stopped trying to slap my chest and she just smiled at me.

I let go and took the shirt off and pulled my old one back on. She paid for my baseball equipment and we walked back to her car. She pulled out and we decided to go to an amusement park for a little excitement.
