Chapter 26

Zoëy Braun

"Baby wake up." I groaned as I felt warm lips being pressed all over my face.

"No. Leave me alone." I turned over on my stomach and stuffed my face into the pillow.

"Come on, the movie is over now and my step-mom invited us to dinner."

I lifted my head up at the mention of his mother. "Your mom?" I spoke with my eyes still closed.

"Yeah, I've been telling her about you and she said she wants to meet you. We have until eight." He said leaning back against a pillow.

"What time is it," I picked up my phone and turned the screen on. "Six forty-five!" I quickly hopped out the bed.

As I tied my hair up in the mirror Aaron walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower.

"What are you doing, I need to shower and you don't have you stuff over here. I don't think I'd like for my mom to see you walking around naked, so go to your own shower." I spoke as I stripped off my clothes.

"I already got my clothes and brought them over, so we could get ready together."

"Aaron stop, you already know what's gonna happen with both of us naked and my raging hormones." I said stepping into the shower.

"Well there's nothing wrong with the outcome." His breath tickled my neck.

"You look fine babe. Now let's go." Aaron sighed.

We've been sitting in the car for the past 10 minutes because I'm too nervous to get out.

"I'm scared to meet them, what if they don't like me?"

"Babe they are gonna love you." He held my hand reassuringly.

"Fine." I sighed getting out the car.

Aaron held my hand as he rung the doorbell. I smoothed my dress out and twirled my pony tail.

"Babe stop you look beaut–" he was cut off by the door opening

"Babe stop you look beaut–" he was cut off by the door opening.

"Aaron!"

"Ava!"

A girl with dark brown curly hair opened the door. She looked no older than 18.

Aaron pulled her into a hug.

"And you must be the famous Zoëy." She looked at me with a big smile.

"Hi it's nice to meet you." I returned the smile.

"I'm Aaron's sister, Ava." She pulled me into a hug.

"Let's go the living room. Ronda is still cooking." Ava grabbed both of our hands and pulled us down the hall.
