Eighteen

DAYA'S POV
Today is my eighteenth birthday. It's been almost a week and a half since I've been here and I love it so much. Max is acting strange every time I'm around him, but that's totally okay. I've made him blush a couple times. He's so cute and my feelings for him are growing stronger. I think Ross knows I like him because every time I talk to Max, Ross  interrupts us. I'm going to the offices both the boys had to get there early so Ross left his car for me. I'm wearing my blush pink tank with a white sweater and ripped light blue jeans and sandals.

I get to the offices and everything seems normal. Too normal. I walk into my office and it's not decorated, and nobody seemed to know it was my birthday. Not even Ross. Maybe they forgot. Well, I guess I'll record some pixel painters and Life is Strange for my channel. After recording I go to lunch. When I come back from subway I see non of their cars except Ross's, cause I'm driving it, in the parking lot. I walk upstairs and I see a note on the door. It said:
 
Come on over. I have a surprise for everyone.

Well that is weird. I guess I'll go. I get in Ross's car and drive to Adam's. I see all of their cars in his drive way and as I pull into it. I walk up to the door and knock.

Adam: hey Day what's up?
Daya: not much except I was alone at the offices when I came back from lunch.
Adam: hey sorry about that. Just come inside.
Daya: okay.

I walk inside all I see is a bunch of people around a birthday cake singing the birthday song. After eating cake and talking we start to open up presents. Alesa got me an out for that was super cute, Tim, Cory, and Corey got me a gift card for 200 dollars. Ross got me 2 Starbuck gift cards. Sky got me a gigantic teddy bear. Maxine got me a necklace that said kind on it. It was really pretty.

Max: hey Daya?
Daya: what?
Max: can you come outside for a moment.
Daya: um yeah sure.
Max: okay.

He leads me outside to Adam's deck. We sit on the staircase looking out at the sunset. It was silent but it was a good silence. Max broke the silence.

Max: did you like your present?
Daya: yes I loved it.
Max: good I was scared you wouldn't.
Daya: Max, it's beautiful!
Max: just like you.
Daya: shut up Maxine!
Max: what? It's true. You are gorgeous.
Daya: thanks... Um we should probably get back to my party.
Max: your right Ross is probably freaking out.

We get up and just before we go to walk in the house I give him a hug. We stayed like they for like 1 min.

Daya: thank you Max.
Max: you're welcome and are you going to let go?  *chuckles*
Daya: *blushes* oh yeah sorry.

We go back inside and most of everyone has left. Barney, Red, and Ethan showed up late after Tim left but with no presents. Tonight was fun and I am ready to go home.

The next morning I get up and get dressed into the outfit Alesa got me. It was a white strapless romper with a low back and I paired it with the necklace Max got me and gold gladiator sandals. I get up and Ross left so I have to ride with Max. He's not awake yet so I decide to be his alarm clock. I run in his room and jump on his bed.

Max: WHAT ARE YOU DOING!
Daya: waking you up Maxine.
Max: .........
Daya: are you a mad Max?
Max: call me that one more time.
Daya: MAD MAX!!!!!!!
