Chapter 3. Two More Years..

Emma P.O.V.

'Ugh I have school today.'

I got up wishing I could go back to bed and wake up in June.

'I really don't want to get up'

After a few minutes I finally got up. I got dressed, put my makeup on, and made some coffee. Mom and John were already at work and we apparently live too close to the school, so I have to walk.

'*uck I forgot my jacket'

I didn't want to be late so I didn't bother to turn around.

'Its so cold'

*shiver*

I heard a car slowing down next to me. Inside I saw someone that looked a lot like the guys I met yesterday, except he had a lot of tattoos and a really hot lip piercing.

"Need something?" I said sarcastically.

"I'm Edward." He replied, with a stupid smirk on face.

I noticed he eyes were wondering south.

'Ew'

I cleared my throat so I could get his attention.

"Sorry but I'm not supposed to talk to strangers." I stated as I continued to walk.

"Come on. I don't bite." He said attempting to be friendly.

"Yea..no, I'm good." I replied.

'Gosh its so cold'

It began to rain.

"Come on, Do you really want to walk in the rain?" He asked.

"More than I want to ride in a car with someone who smells like cheap alcohol." I replied trying my best not to act cold, but I must've been shivering really badly because the next thing I know Edward gave me his jacket and was driving me to school.

"Thanks" I said trying to warm up.

'Gosh my nose probably looks like a tomato.'

"No Problem." He replied.

We finally got to school. When I got out of the car everyone was staring at me. I could hear people whispering and I saw people pointing.

'Great everyone's staring.'

I handed Edward his jacket. I could feel my face get hot. I started to walk when I could feel someone grab my wrist. I turned around to see Edward staring back at me.

"Yes?" I asked trying to wiggle my arm free.

"Let me walk with you." He said.

"Fine, Just let go." I said trying to hurry up and get away from all the attention.

I hurried up the stairs, But as soon as I entered the building I got a headache. The school looked like a labyrinth.

"Uhh." I said looking lost.

"We could just figure this out later, and ditch." He said wearing that annoying smirk.

"I can't ditch my first day. Plus the school would call my mom." I stated.

"Fine." He said loosing his smile. He kinda looked pissed off.

'Is he really mad at me? Wait why do I care. I don't care ... or at least I shouldn't..'

I ended up spacing out. Edward grabbed my arm and lead me to the office. Looking around the school I could tell I was going to need help finding my classes.

* Few minutes later *

I went in the office and got my schedule, locker combo, school ID, and a pass because even the lady in the office knew I'd get lost. Edward grabbed my schedule and my locker combo. At first I didn't realize what he was doing..

'Oh my gosh! He was memorizing my schedule and combo!'

"Hey!" I shouted grabbing my schedule and combo out of his hands.

"I'll pick you up after sixth period ends." He said then winked at me and disappeared into the crowd.

'Great.'

I felt overwhelmed. Everyone was still staring. My face got hot again. I quickly walked away from the crowd. I ended up getting lost and bumping in to some really tall guy.

"Oops sorry." I said blushing like crazy.

He turned around and I could see it was.. Harry? I think.

"Hey Emma!" Harry said smiling.

Seeing his smile was very comforting. And made me realize how thankful I was to be away from Edward.

"Hey.. Harry.." I said a lot quieter than I planned to.

"Need some help?" He said kind of laughing.

"Uh yea." I replied.

Harry helped me with my classes and my locker I found out we had some classes together (Biology and French.) I had Trig. with Marcel, And so far no classes with Edward thank gosh. I had one class left P.E... great.

'Ugh I hate P.E.'

When I went to the gym I wanted to turn around leave. Marcel, Harry, and Edward were all in my P.E. class.

'Only two more years of high school.. Can't wait.'
