Chapter 14. Over Thinking Isn't Healthy

Harry's P.O.V.

I heard the scumbag and Emma talking. I could feel my blood boiling beneath my skin. The thought of him even laying a hand on Emma sickens me. I just wanted to punched the daylights out of him. I was trying my best eavesdrop without making it totally obvious.

"Haz did you hear what I just said?" Louis asked.

"Huh? What, No sorry." I replied.

Louis sighed.

"I asked if you're going to homecoming next weekend." He repeated.

"Oh.. I don't think so Lou." I said even more upset than before.

"Why? What's wrong harry?" He asked, Concern filled his voice.

"I did something stupid.. Something I shouldn't have done.. I feel so horrible Lou. I don't know what to do." I said hearing my voice crack with sadness.

I could see my vision start to blur.

'Harry you are at school. Keep it together.'

"Harry did you want to ditch the rest of the day? You can come over and we can prank call Edward's exes!" He said excitedly.

"Sorry Lou but I think I should just go to my own home." I replied.

I tried to convince Louis that I was okay on my own and to make sure he is not even more late to class than he already is.

"Okay fine bye Harry... You sure you'll be alright?" He asked for about the fourth time.

"Yes Louis I'm sure." I said putting on the most realistic smile I could pull.

He gave me a sympathetic smile in return and waved goodbye. I noticed I could still hear Emma and that *wat talking.

"Great see you after school." He said.

'Oh s**t! What are they gonna do after school! I can't let him near her, He can't do this again. I won't let it happen.'

I peeked around the corner of the hall and saw Dillion walking away.

'Here's my chance.'

I started walking over to Emma. She heard me and turned around. I could tell by her eyes she looked so.. sad.

'Did I do that to her? She was so full of energy just 3 days ago.. And yet now she probably hates me.. Her hating Edward I totally understand, In fact probably everyone understands, But the fact that I made this beautiful girl hate me.. It shows that I'm no better than Edward..'

I shook my head trying to shake those thoughts out of my head as I walked up to her.

"Don't go." I told her.

So sorry It's been forever since I updated. Just life's been stupid. So yea. And so sorry It's really short! But when I get to the next few chapters they WILL get longer! ;3 I will update as soon as I can :) I hopefully update will soon! Because I have some awesome ideas for a homecoming chapter ;) Anywho love you guys and thank you so much for getting it over a thousand reads! You have noooooo idea how much it means to me!
