Louis' POV

I Louis Tomlinson am an idiot. And, I pledge to that. Reasons why?
Well number 1, I dragged an innocent girl in to my problems.
Number 2, I made that innocent girl see things she should have never seen.
Number 3, I put that innocent girls life in danger.
Number 4, it's my fault that her ankle is badly wounded.
Number 5, I am growing fond of that innocent girl. And, the last thing she needs right now is an alcoholic teenage mess, that kills people and steals stuff for a living.

She doesn't need me, and I don't need her.

She is perfect, and I am not.

She is better off with out me.

I looked over at Aubree, she hasn't stopped looking out the window ever since we stopped talking. I wonder what she's thinking about.
Me?

No.

No Louis.

Don't get ahead of yourself.

She's probably thinking about her family, which I practically ripped away from her.
Okay, once again I shouldn't get ahead of myself.
I didn't really take her away from her family. If we make it through this alive then she'll be able to see them again. No worries.

Oh, who am I kidding?

She is probably torn apart about her family. And, I wonder how her family is reacting, they probably think she's dead..

I seriously should have just told spencer that we don't need a pre purge killing to "warm ourselves up" .

I heard a little snore coming from Aubree. I looked at her and did a soft smile. She looks so peaceful.

I would do anything to have her safely sleeping in her bed instead of here in this car.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a buzz coming from my pocket.
I hit answer, not even bothering to look at who it was.

"Hello?"

"Look behind you."

Fuck. I knew who it was the moment they spoke. I looked through my rear view mirror, and saw a car right on my tail. How did I not see that before?

The car bumped a little in to the tail of my car. The bump was big enough for aubree to jolt awake.

"Huh what?" She said sleepily.

"Oh, aubree so nice for you to wake up." He said cheerfully.

I looked at Aubree, and her eyes widened, I could tell that she was no longer sleepy.

How did they figure out her name though?
It took them like 5 months to finally figure our my name..

'Speaker' Aubree mouthed to me. I nodded, and put the phone on speaker.

"Here's the deal. You give us the diamond and only one of you will die!"

I sped up the car.

"Tsk' Tsk' Tsk' Louis there is no need to speed up. What do you want to have? A race?"

I didn't bother to respond.

"Fine. Then a race you'll get."

The car moved around from my back end, and was now right next to me.

I couldn't see who was driving the car, because the windows where tinted. All I saw was a dark figure.

I sped up trying to out drive him. But, he kept the pace with me.

Aubree watched nervously.
I don't blame her, one bump and we could go flying in to the air.

He ended up bumping his black car against mine. Not that hard, but enough for me to become extra defensive. My knuckles tightened around the wheel, they started to become white.

"This is has been fun in all but-"

The car sped up, and was now I front of us.

"I must be going." The car sped up even more and was now away from us. And, then they where no longer on the other line.

I huffed. Thankfully that didn't turn into a big mess. But, I can tell that tonight we are going to have many more moments like that.
