Chapter 19

Louis' POV

I looked at aubree, as she laid her blond head of hair against the car window.

I would do anything to get that loud mouth, annoying, but seemingly nice girl back home. Safe and sound.

But, of course nothing is ever that easy.

I really need to stop pitying aubree. She's stuck with me for tonight, and I guess I should just get over it.

God, one second I'm thinking about how I wish she was safe and home, and the next I'm thinking about getting over it and not caring.

I need to make up my damn mind.

My phone in my pocket started to buzz.

I really hope it's not 'him'.

I grabbed my phone, and read the text I got.

"We have to meet up at the 181 amber warehouse."

I groaned while reading the text. We can't keep going to these places, we have to get to Texas, or else more of those people will catch up with us. Shit.

Whatever this just better not take long. Like I said we really need to get to Texas.

The amber warehouse was only a few miles away, not that bad of a drive.

I pulled into the back of the warehouse, and looked over at Aubree. I really don't want to have to wake her up. She needs her sleep... Maybe I can leave her in here?

No. That would be dangerous.

Never mind.

I lightly touched aubrees shoulder, and she jolted awake. Well that was easy...

Her eyes were wide when she woke up. She started to look around as if she was wondering where she was. And, then when she saw me her wide eyes dropped, and she let out a soft but noticeable sigh.

"What are we doing?" She croaked.

I pointed to the warehouse, "Spencer." Was all I said.

She nodded and began to get out of the car, and I did the same. And, once again I heard her sigh.

Finally updated, yayyy. I'm sorry I've been busy and also sick:/ sorry lame excuse but its true... I'm debating between updating frequently but having short chapters (like what I have now) or updating 3-12 days with long chapters..? Comment what you think I should do, and what you would like to see!
