Liam didn't like her. He didn't feel comfortable when she was around. Maybe it was the way Zayn clung to her like she would leave if he didn't. Or the way she "helps" Zayn, but he had never seen her before. He didn't know, he couldn't put his finger on it, but he knew nothing good could come out of her being around.
"I don't like her." Liam out-ted, soon as Zayn and Valerie left. His reactions were groans and immediate rolling of the eyes from the other lads. Liam was quite appalled by it too. How could they not see she was no good for him. "What! There's obviously something wrong!"
"If it's obvious, then it's only obvious to you." Louis said.
"Besides did you see how many times he smiled at her. Zayn looks happy again." Harry said.
"I just don't want him to get hurt." Liam said sadly. The boys gave him a sad knowing smile. Liam was Daddy Direction of course he didn't want any of them to get hurt. Whether it was telling them not to jump of the bed and slide into the covers because they wouldn't end up with a concussion. Of course Louis had done it anyways, Liam was the one there to say I told you so.
Though Liam was usually right about relationships - Caroline and Taylor, mostly on Harry's part- he couldn't take away the happiness Valerie had brought Zayn. The lads knew if Liam thought something was wrong then there was, but they would have to stick around to find out. They couldn't just judge her and force Zayn to leave her alone. They had tried that many times before and it ultimately ended up with Zayn not talking to them for two or three days. They had given up on trying that.
They listened to Liam's reasons, until Niall got to tired to care anymore. Honestly Niall didn't care in the first place. Zayn was happy. That was the end of it or what should have been the end of it. Liam needs to let his over protectiveness go. Niall thought. Zayn's a big boy. He can handle himself.
Besides isn't that what life's about? You fall in love, get your heartbroken, sulk, and then start again until you find the right one. It doesn't matter if the person is good for you or your image. It's about how they make you feel. If Niall knows that and he's never been in a serious relationship, he knows that Liam knows that because he simply adores his girlfriend. So Niall thinks that Liam should let them live and make their own mistakes. That's why he feel asleep, while Liam was talking. He was tired and what Liam was saying meant nothing because they weren't going to change Zayn's mind. Liam must have thought the same thing because the last thing Niall heard was.
"So instead we need to get her to go."

When Valerie woke up Zayn was still asleep. She looked over the sleeping pretty boy and noticed how gorgeous he really was. Zayn looked absolutely perfect when he was sleeping. His plush lips slightly ajar, his black hair disheveled from sleep. The only problem was his eyes were hidden. She liked the color of Zayn's eyes. They held life in them, the gold chips in his hazel eyes made her stomach do flips when ever they smiled at her. She brought one of her hands from Zayn's grip and placed it on his face. Her hand guided over the rough stubble as she cupped his cheek. She leaned in, she didn't know why, but she did. When she saw Zayn's eyes open, she still continued to lean in. As their lips touch and she felt a jolt surge through her body she decided it was the best decision she had ever made in her life. Zayn lips tasted like heaven. She suddenly decided that she didn't need to breathe as long as her lips were on Zayn's it didn't matter. Nothing else mattered. Zayn tightened his grip on her waist as she ran her hand through his hair. He slid his tongue over her lips, but instead of her acceptance, Valerie bit down on his bottom lip causing Zayn to buck his hips and groan.
She smiled as she pulled away from him, face flushed and lips swollen. She took her bottom lips between her teeth as Zayn's eyes opened. A smirk played upon his face as he looked at Valerie.
