"Dammit." Zayn muttered as he heard the front door shut. Why did this keep happening? He honestly didn't do anything this time. Where had she gotten the idea that she was worthless?

Zayn punched the wall, leaving a hole. A frown set on his face, he watched as his bruised hand start to bleed, but he didn't care. He was to pissed. He couldn't figure out why she suddenly left.

"Worthless?" He got a sick feeling in his gut, but he went with his gut anyways. He walked out of his room and went to search for Liam. He found him in the kitchen having a silent argument with Louis- Harry and Niall were still asleep. The arguing stopped as soon as Zayn walked in, which obviously made them both look suspicious.

"What did you say?" Zayn asked. Louis' eyes darted to Liam then back at Zayn's. Louis thought Zayn wouldn't notice, but he did. He always did.

"Liam. What. Did. You. Say?" Zayn said sharply, stepping forwards almost chest to chest with Liam.

"Zayn, your hand is bleeding." Liam reached his shaky hand out to touch Zayn's bleeding one, but Zayn jumped back. "Tell me Liam."

"I-I didn't say it to her." Liam started. "I was talking to Louis."

"What were you talking to Louis about?" There was a slight pause between Zayn's question and Liam's answer. Zayn was trembling with anger and Liam was shaking with regret.

"She's not right for you Zayn!" Liam suddenly shouted. "You'll be better off without her!"

"Better off? BETTER OFF! IN A SPAN OF FIVE MINUTES SINCE I'D MET HER SHE'S BEEN KEEPING ME SMILING! SHE'S MADE ME FEEL LOVED AND I DON'T HURT WHEN SHE'S AROUND, BUT SHE'S NOT RIGHT FOR ME?!" Zayn yelled. He was so beyond pissed it wasn't even funny. He wanted to beat the shit out of Liam right now, but he knew that wouldn't solve anything. He knew Liam was just trying to help.

"I'm sorry, Zayn."

"Dammit, Liam." Zayn muttered. He started to back away, going back to his self made hole. He was going to drown himself too. Drown himself in nicotine, and the left over weed he had. His lips tingled, but he didn't know if it was because of his lost of cigarettes for two days or because he wanted to kiss Valerie, but she wasn't here. How he wished she was though. She wasn't worthless to him. He wants to get to know her better. He wants to know about the scars on her stomach and the reasons why she smokes. He wants to know what her favorite color is and what's her favorite band. He wants to know her. To simply put it.

He didn't notice it while he was thinking about her, but he was half way to the alley by now. He took that turn and took in the rough scenery. The color of the bricks were fading, there was trash all over the floor, homeless men were slump against graffiti colored buildings. He continued to walk and smiled when he saw Ricky

"Zayn didn't I tell you-"

"I'm not here for that." Zayn cut off. "Where's Valerie?"

"Oh, she's at her flat." He said simply. Zayn gave him a dull look. If he knew where her flat was he wouldn't have come here first.

"Where's her flat?" Zayn asked, a little irritated by Ricky's vagueness. Moments later, Ricky told Zayn where it was and once again, Zayn found himself walking blindly to his destination while thinking about Valerie. When he made it to her flat, he knocked. Simple. She didn't answer. Simpler. Not. Zayn knocked and knocked until he heard an irritable grown from inside.

"If I don't answer the first time, I would think you would leave." A voice said as the person came to open the door. A girl who much resembled Valerie opened the door. She took in a deep breath before fanning herself to calm down.

"Hey is Valerie here?" Zayn asked with, not really a smirk or smile, but a very slight upturn of his lips.

"What does Zayn Malik need Valerie for?"

"Doesn't really matter. I just want to know if she's here."

"Yeah." The girl opened the door wider side stepping so Zayn could see. She pointed down a hallway. "She's in my room sulking." Zayn nodded stepping into the place and heading back to the only room there was. The closer he got the more he could hear the slight whimpering and the loudness of her music. His heart sank when he opened the door and saw her buried underneath covers just like he had been when Perrie first broke things off. He wondered if he had looked this depressing, then he decided he probably looked worst.

Zayn took off his shoes and walked over to the bed. He slipped under the duvet and cuddled closer to Valerie. Snaking his arms around her waist and pulling her back into his chest. Though Valerie was taken by surprise she didn't have the energy to push Zayn away. The only reason she knew it was Zayn is because the tingles she had and the tight feeling in her stomach. She simply turned in his grasp, letting her head reside in his neck and her hands on his welcoming chest. Their legs in tangled and just like magic a void was filled between the both of them. The didn't know it, they could feel it, but they didn't understand it.
