It was the end of another day of exploring the Edge. After checking out the new filters for the Dragon Eye, everyone headed off to their respective huts.

Astrid was just about to leave, when you grabbed her shoulder.

"Excuse me, can I please talk to you for a minute?" you asked politely, although what you actually wanted to say was anything but polite.

Astrid slowly turned her head to look at you, before fully turning around to face you. "Uh huh, sure. Y'know, you look kinda familiar."

You knew what game she was playing. Of course you looked familiar; you lived on the same island, for gods' sake!

But you kept your cool and shot back calmly, "Yeah, you do too."

Astrid folded her arms, a obvious silent way of telling you to hurry up.

"But, um I just wanted to, uh . . ." you trailed off, looking at your (s/c) fingers, "you know that guy named . . ." Another hesitation. "You-you know his name."

Astrid slowly nodded, a small smirk on her features. "Oh yeah, definitely. I know his name."

"I just wanted to let you know . . ." Dropping the act, you gave the Nordic Blonde a stern glare, "he's mine."

Astrid chuckled. "Uh . . . no, no. He's mine."

[Both] - You need to give it up,
Had about enough,
It's not hard to see:
The boy is mine.
I'm sorry that you,
Seem to be confused;
He belongs to me:
The boy is mine.

You sighed and inwardly shook your head. This was going to be interesting.

[You] - I think it's time we got this straight;
Let's sit and talk face to face.
There is no way you could mistake,
Him for your man - are you insane?

"Alright, we need to get this straight," you began. "I honestly don't know how you can think that he's yours. Like, are you insane or something?"

[Astrid] - You see I know that you may be,
Just a bit jealous of me.
But you're blind if you can't see,
That his love is all in me.

Astrid just laughed scornfully. "Y'know, I've always known that you've been jealous of me."

You scoffed dismissively at her remark. Astrid ignored it and continued on.

"But, honestly, you're blind if you can't figure out that all the love he can give is for me and me alone."

[You] - You see, I tried to hesitate,
I didn't wanna say what he told me:
He said without me he couldn't make,
It through the day, ain't that a shame?

"Y'know, I didn't originally want to say this, in worry of wrecking all your delusions and stuff," you began, sickly sweet, "but, earlier on this week, he told me that, without me, he wasn't able to continue through the day. Isn't that sad?"

[Astrid] - Maybe you misunderstood.
'Cause I can't see how he could,
Wanna change something that's so good:
Because my love is all it took.

"Hmm, maybe you misunderstood," Astrid said bluntly. "'Cause I just don't understand why he'd want to ruin what was so perfect. Because my love was all it took. And that's a fact."
