"Mommy, I can't sleep." I heard Ally whisper.

I yawned and sat up, looking over at Shawn who was fast asleep.

"Lets go to your room." I grabbed her hand.

"Ally? Where are you and mommy going?"

The two of us walked into another room.

"Hey, bud. What are you still doing up?" I asked my three turning four year old son, Liam.

"I'm not sleepy yet." He pouted.

I carried him into Ally's room, where we all sat down on her bed.

I tucked the both of them in and sat in the middle.

"So what's bugging you?"

"Im scared, I don't wanna go to the second grade." Ally fiddled with her fingers.

"Me too." Liam said copying his big sister.

"Bud, you're only in kindergarten!" I laughed.

"But it's scary." He crossed his little arms.

"No it's not, silly!" Ally poked him. "I loved kindergarten!"

"I want to be a baby forever!" Liam whined.

"You guys will always be my babies forever." I smiled.

"Even when we're old and fat?" Ally asked.

I laughed, "Of course."

"You know, mommy met daddy in kindergarten," Ally said causing me to blush. "Maybe you'll meet a girl like how daddy did."

Liam turned red like how Shawn would, "No! That's yucky!"

Ally and I laughed.

"Mommy, can you tell us the story?"

"Again?"

"Please?" The two pleaded.

"Okay. Well I don't remember much, I'm starting to forget.. But I remember not liking daddy very much because he would always take my things-"

"Hey that's not true.." A deep voice said.

"Daddy!" Liam jumped up.

"What are you guys doing up so late?" He asked.

"We're telling stories!" Ally said.

Shawn sat on the foot of the bed because there was no more space.

"Okay, well I took mommy's things because she always took my snacks."

"Um no, you took my snacks!" I argued back.

"Mommy's very silly." Shawn stuck his tongue out.

"Daddy's sillier."

"But anyways, we became friends because we decided to share." Shawn laughed.

We looked at the two kids who were now asleep.

Shawn and I high fived and went back to our room.

"Liam's going to school." Shawn randomly said.

"It seems like just yesterday was his first birthday." I sighed.

"Four years as a family."

"We've been a family for way longer than that."

"Thank you for helping me, and putting up with me." Shawn said.

"What are friends for?"

"Did you just friend zone your own husband?" He scoffed.

I chuckled cuddling up closer to his chest, "Good night Shawn."

"Good night, Bree."
