Faith's P.O.V

My dad pulled up into the foreign drive way.

"Well, we're here kids." My mom says.

I roll my eyes and sigh. I slam the car door and walk into my new home. When I walk in, the first thing I see is the big living room that my parents have always wanted. I stomp up stairs and barge into a random room and chuck my bag at the wall.

I had to let my anger out and not even All Time Low could calm me down.

"Faith, what's that noise?!" My mom yells.

I roll my eyes and walk downstairs to leave. I couldn't stand being there at the moment.

"Faith! Faith where do you think you're going? Answer me young lady!" She pressed. I just simply walked past her and started walking toward Karen's house.

"FAITH JEANETTE WILLIAMS GET BACK HERE RIGHT NOW!"

I don't bother looking back as I still keep walking away from my family.

Karen's house wasn't too far, in fact it was just a house away.

I don't bother knocking since our families were so close. I was like a daughter to her parents.

"Hello Maria, is Karen home?" I ask.

"Hi Faith, she's right up stairs third room to your left." She smiles.

I mutter a thanks before hugging her. I walk up stairs and flip my long dark hair behind my back.

"Cause all I need is a beauty and a beeeaaaaaaaat!" I here her shriek.

"I'm guessing this is a bad time." I grouchily mutter at her.

"Oh. It's you." She says flatly.

"I love you too, my dear Karen." She rolls her eyes and hugs me. After all, it's been two weeks since I've seen her or my other friend.

You see, I have three best friends named Julie, Lilia (she prefers Lilly) and Karen. Our dads work in the same company and they were all transferred here to Newington, Connecticut. A town so small I'm pretty sure it was impossible to get lost in.

Anyways, all of our families have been close since they were in high school. So close that our mothers planned to have us at the same time so we could attend the same school and be in the same grade. We were all the first child except for Karen, she had an older brother named Jake that Lilly used to have a thing for. But she's over him, it would never work out anyway because he was in college and she was a junior in high school.

"I haven't seen you in like forever!" Karen said.

I roll my eyes playfully. "It's only been two weeks."

"But still! I missed you, even though you're a pain in the ass." She smirks.

I pretend to ignore her before I plop myself on her bed. I notice she was wearing colorful tribal skinny jeans and a pink sleeveless, collared blouse that was studded and her pink vans. Her hair stick straight like always. How I envied her, I'd prefer naturally straight hair over thick almost curly, frizzy hair.

"Hey, let's go to Julie's apartment. I haven't seen her since we all moved here." She said glumly.

"Uh sure, just let me get my skate board." I said.

"M'kay I'll come with you."

I nod and we leave telling Maria goodbye on our way out.

We pick up my skateboard quickly before my parents notice.
