A New Life to Remember

Chapter 2 ~ The Ride to School

Charlotte successfully made it to the bus on time to sit next to her best friend(only friend really) Ava. Ava was the only person that would ever actually talk to her and have a long conversation and also encourage her to try some things here and there.

Charlotte's POV-
Wow I finally didn't trip when I walked on to the bus. As always I sat in the same seat as everyday, next to my best friend Ava. Ava and I met when we were in pre-school so basically nothing can break us apart. We talk to each other about everything, even secrets we wouldn't and couldn't tell anybody. Every time I would get into a bad situation she would always be there for me, but it's kinda creepy because she would show up out of nowhere knowing something was wrong at the moment. We would also talk to each other about our celebrity crushes all the time. Her celebrity crush was Justin Bieber and mine was also Justin Bieber. We were basically those people that if you came near us and said something false about Justin then we would basically attack you. I guess you can say we are partners in crime? But, we would talk to each other almost all day everyday because finally in our last year of middle school(8th grade) we were assigned 5 classes together! These classes were reading, science, lunch, math, and english (my favorite class). The best part about this was that we never got sick of each other. We could talk forever and still have more to say.
"Hey Charlotte, I can tell that you had a problem this morning because you put your hair in a ponytail." She pointed out to me. But this was true because every time something bad happens in the morning I have a ponytail in my hair.
"Um, well this morning was a little weird..."
"Tell me! Tell me!" Ava shouted with excitement.
"Well I don't really know what happened, I woke up late like every day but my mom said that my father had some weird work stuff to attend early, I was getting a bad vibe after she told me this. "I think today is gonna be like another bad day I can see it coming."
"Oh cheer up! We are having an assembly today during first period so we can talk this out there because the bus doesn't seem appropriate to be talking about this when you have people literally breathing in your words."
"Alright, I don't know how I will survive homeroom without you though."

A few minutes later and we arrive to school. I also didn't fall off the bus making a complete fool of myself while getting off. Now I get to pick my disgusting school breakfast for today. So I run inside to the cafe to pick out cereal. Ew, we have the worst food at this school especially since I'm not a big fan of milk or most other things that they serve here. The school should have students pick the lunch it will really improve everyone's attitude around here. Especially the girls that I hate. Kristina, Lisa, and Melissa. The most popular girls in my school, the stuck up snobs that like to trash everyone online and have no care in the world about anything. And I'm really surprised that they even made it to 8th grade because they are the worst students ever. I just really hope today doesn't turn out horrible like everyday at school.

Fun fact Ava actually isn't related to anyone I know. Ava is actually just a character that is my bestie in the story but doesn't actually exist. I have real friends. But you will meet them soon... So stay tuned!
