P.V.O Lyanna Stark

My horse couldn't go fast enough. So I dug my heels into her sides harder yelling "Faster Visenya, Faster!" The cold northern wind whipped through my hair and froze every bone in my body and I couldn't be more exhilarated.

I heard my brother Benjin laugh from behind me as he shouted "You won't win Lyanna, Your horse will give out in a matter of seconds." I stared ahead at that the snowy land scape and the high stone walls of winter fell and whispered to myself "Will see about that."

Benjin was my younger brother, the youngest of all four stark children. I loved my brother but whenever he acted like an ass I wanted to punch him in the face. I smiled to myself as I grew closer to the gates that open to the home of my family.

I made Visenya go faster, we were almost there, almost to the gates of Winterfell. I said soothing words to her as she galloped through the snow at the speed of lightning. Benjin wouldn't beat me, not again. We normally were at a draw but most of the time I won. For that last week Ben had a winning streak and I couldn't be more furious.

When Benjin and his horse were next to me he began to yell taunting words as if he thought he had already won the race. His dark brown hair was windblown and his gray eyes were laughing at me "Give it up Lyanna I'm by far superior." a smug smile tugged at his lips which made me snarl "is the She- Wolf coming for a visit?" he said , a joking tune to his voice that mimicked his eyes.

Just as the words left his mouth his horse stumbled, causing Ben to fly off. I let out a laugh and kept Visenya going until we reached the gates. I dismounted her and looked back at Benjin and yelled "You alright Ben? When the She- wolf visits she bites." He sputtered a few inappropriate words and I let out a loud laugh.

I felt someone behind me and his voice made me become as still as stone "Lyanna." My father's voice rang in my ears. I turned around, my father Rickard Stark was standing with my brother Eddard and his best friend, and fellow ward of Jon Arryn, Robert Baratheon.

I quickly fixed my hair, tugging out leaves and twigs and walked over towards them. "Hello Father" I nodded my head towards him and then greeted Ned and Robert. Ned hadn't been home in months but I had to hold in the urge to hug him fiercely,

My father cleared his throat and said sternly "Lyanna, young lord Baratheon would like to speak with both of us, let us make our way to the maestars turret shall we?" I nodded my head and bit my lip, following Robert and my father. I looked back at Ned who just stood there staring after me, a worried expression shined in his eyes.

My heart was racing and my thoughts were clouding my head. What is this meeting all about?

We sat down at a table with Maestar Luin. Robert was sitting across from me, next to the Maestar while my father was by my right side. "Lady Lyanna Stark of Winterfell, Lord Robert of the house Baratheon has a proposal for the House Stark and all of the North." the Maestar said. I looked at Robert as he spread a wide smile across his face.

I knew who Robert was, I've known him since childhood. Robert was my Brother Ned's best friend and heir to Storms End. I also knew Robert was a constant drunk and every brothel across Westeros best customer. I gave him a small smile and then he began to speak. "Lord Stark and Lady Lyanna." He was obviously nervous. "Lady Lyanna I have asked your father for your hand in holy matrimony, he has agreed to combine our two houses." He then stood out of his seat and got to one knee next to my chair. I was compelled by my father's stare to switch my position and face Robert,

His big muscled frame shook the floor as he shifted legs. "Lyanna of House Stark, a Lady of Winterfell, I ask for your love and faithfulness in this marriage proposal. Do you accept?" He asked as he held my hand that was tiny in compassion to his.
