I leaned into the corner, my knee barly touching the ground as I brought my neon green kawasaki ninja barelling around the corner. Me, Ashton, and Grey were racing so far I was second. Grey was first and Ash was a very close third.
I went around another corner, I heard Ash gasp when the semi's wheels almost chopepd off my head. I had skrillex playing in my built-in head phones. I laughed, this is what I lived for. The speed, the power, the risk.
I went around three more sharp turns. I watched as the trees turned into buildings. We were getting closer to the burb's (Suburbs). I was gaining on Grey, his red ninja snading out like a becon against the dark pavement. I was laughing as my favorite song came on, Skrillex's Kyoto. I had downloaded a bass boosted version, and that combined with my bad ass head phone's meant that I couldn't hear.
I couldn't hear Ash's screamed warning, I couldn't hear the horn of the car, and I couldn't hear the tries screech as I toppled over the car.
I caught a glimpse of the guy's faces when I passed over the hood, I'm pretty sure they went to my school... Huh. I felt something snap when I landed on the unforgiving pavement, and ya know what I was thinking the entire time? 'There better not be a scratch on my baby.' Ha! I grunted as I tumbled a few times.
Once I was laying still I saw how this'd happened. I hadn't seen the car pull out of the drive way, and I couldn't hear the warning' s. "Shit!" I heard Grey moan as he pulled of his helmet. "Come on Chaypin! Stay with us." I grinned like an idiot up at him. I attempted a chuckle, let me tell you. Big mistake, I clutched at my ribs groaning in pain at least one of them was broken. I looked at where Grey's bike was parked a good thirty yards back. I looked back up at him, squinting as Ash and two others walked into the picture. "I still," I took a pained breath "win." I finished. "Sure you did Chay." Ash sent me a dark glare, but I could see the unshead tears in his eyes. I could still feel everything so I knew it wasn't serious.
He kneeled next to me and I put my hand on his cheek and smiled "Hey, a few broken ribs. I'm not dieing, have some more faith in me." I turned my head to the side and looked into Grey's grey eyes, funny right? But thats why we call him what we do. "Call Jack would you?" He too sent me a drak glare. I tried to sit up clutching my stomach and ribs while I braced my self against my two best friends.
I see two new worried faces aproch me, but before I can prosses who they are I slip into the warm embrace of unconenceness.
