I moaned, Grey. My oh-so-sweet- room mate had decided that the best way to wake me up was with... You guessed it, bacon. And pancakes, and syrup, and an orange.

God I love this kid.

"Thank you so much Grey." I smiled at him from around a mouthful of egg and bacon.

He chuckled. "Close your mouth Pinni that's gross." I shrugged before continuing to demolish my delicious breakfast. Grey was an amazing cook, he liked to spice things up, like instead of regular pancakes he put cinnamon and blueberries into it, and instead of regular scrambled eggs he put cheese into them, like I said, I love the kid.

I stood up while Grey took the plated and glasses to the sink. I stretched before walking out of the bedroom. I took the stairs gently, careful not to bother my already painful torso.

Ash, Grey, and Jack all sat at the table, talking. From the looks of It, it was something serious.

"Grey, Ash, I need you two to stick to her like glue today ok? You know how she is and with her ribs she'll be even worse."

Ok, so I might have a bit of a reputation as a trouble maker. But it wasn't my fault, it was others who picked a fight with me! Not the other way around.

Although last month I did knock that bitch Courtney's front teeth in, but it still wasn't my fault. She had been dating Ash at the time and she cheated on him! The stupid skank.

I turned toward the guys "I promise I'll be on my bestest behavior today and until my ribs heal."

Jack looked at me skeptically, he may only be three years older than the rest of us, but he really was like an older brother for all of us, and once again I realized how much responsibility he had on his shoulders and how lucky I was to have him.

He smiled at me. "I know you'll try Chay but I still want the guys to follow you. Not that they don't already."

It was fine by me, the company was welcome. "Now," Jack shoo'd us with his hands "Off to school! All of you go on get out! Go have a great first day!" His words would have seemed harsh were it not for the humor dancing in his eyes.

Ash scooped me up and over his shoulder "Come on Chay! Runn!" I laughed and smiled at Grey over Ash's shoulder as he chased after us. He caught up, and grabbed me from Ash's grip. "Haha! I win!"

It went like this for the whole hour walk (more like run) to school, of the guys basically playing catch with me. Of course still being cautious of my ribs.

I squirmed out of Ash's grip before running behind Grey, using him as a shield "No more! I give!"

Ash, Grey, and I walked up the campus lawn and to the school doors, I took a deep breath before opening my eyes, Grey put a reassuring hand on my shoulder. "On to senior year yeah?" I let out a chuckle, "Yeah,"
