Every-one started to clear out right when the bell rang,except two people who started walking my way.They looked like twins- a boy and a girl both had blond hair, green eyes and very pale skin.They looked about my age. seventeen. "Hello Destiny," the girl said in a very sweet, high- pitched voice."My name is Rose and this is my brother Jake. He doesn't talk much though." She spoke with so much excitement it was scary.Her brother looked at me with soft eyes and offered me a kind smile.
"Um, hi; how do you know my name?" I asked. confused.
At first she looked worried , but then she quickly covered it up with a fake smile. "Well, everyone in the school has been talking about you, silly." she explained to me like I was a five year old.
"Oh, okay; I guess." I said unsure.
"Well we better get going: I just heard the last bell ring." The boy Jake said in a shy voice.
"Oh yes, of course! Come along. Des- is it okay if I call you that?" she asked happy as ever.
I had never really thought of it, but I liked the sound of that nickname. "Okay, well I need to go to the front desk and get all my classes sorted out." I said
"Okay . let's go." Jake said quietly grabbing my elbow. It was then that it happend. A spark shot through my arm , where he had touched me. I looked up at him; he looked shocked, then a big smile spread across his face.The emotion in his eyes as he gazed over at me was unreadable. Then I looked at Rose, she was smiling, ear to ear, looking between me and Jake. It was incredibly weird
Then, the next thing I know I was snuggled up to Jake. For some reason it seemed like I had no control over my body. Whoa. What in the rainbows and butterflies just forking happned? I had only just met Jake, for crying out loud! I didn't even know his last name.
I had to demand an anwser.
"What in the pregnant unicorns happned?" I yelled confused as a drunk superman.
