It was a Monday at school, Mackenzie's least favorite day. She had thought ahead and stuffed her diary and pen into her book bag before leaving. Mackenzie asked to use the restroom, and in the way out she made a pit stop at her locker for her diary and pen. She sped walked into the restroom, found a empty stall, and began to write.

Dear Diary,
I'm writing this in the ladies room on Monday morning.
Anyway, story time.
That one place that pushed me over just happened to be Walmart.
I know Walmart is the destination for all people wearing pj's at three o' clock in the afternoon, but it really made me click.
I saw dozens of people walk out carrying cart full's of food.
Chips, soda, macaroni, fruit snacks, anything you can name.
The sun was setting slowly, and the beautiful blue sky was dim. I
Walmart is open for three more hours, so I better make my decision quick.
At the sight of everyone with all that food, my stomach pleaded me to get some, but I stayed in the shadows. My bag wasn't buried far away, so I could go retrieve something if I need it.
I decided that I could wait three more hours, than find something.
In the meantime, I put my sunglasses on and my hood back up
so I was hidden.
I wanted to browse around Walmart, but something was telling me not to. I know I have a chance of exposure, but yet I'm hidden.
I put my head low and walked into Walmart, my whole body jumping for joy. I browsed the aisles, and it took everything I had in me not to just eat everything in the store.
I walked around for a long time, used the bathroom about four times, watched the same small program on the TV's for sale five times, and played on the IPad's for sale for about an hour.
As I was playing Cut The Rope on the iPad, a lady came over the
speakers and announced the store was closing.
Everyone sighed and began to flock for the entrance.
I stayed with everyone, but soon cut off to find a place to hide.
I swung around the clothes, across the dairy aisles, and couldn't find anywhere to hide.
"Alright, Gerald. Let's make this store check quick. I need to get home."
"Alright, Harrison. I need to sleep."
I heard two guards say loudly.
They were checking the store.
My heart raced as I desperately looked for a place to hide.
"C'mon Magic Mackenzie, poof yourself a place to hide!"
I whimpered.
~~~
Whoops. That's the bell.
Its tardy land for me.
Sincerely,
Tardy Mackenzie
Mackenzie hurried out of the bathroom, put her diary and pen back, and hurried to her next class.
