Mackenzie hopped off the bus and ran inside, gently shoving Maliboo aside with her foot. She had something to do. To turned around behind her and locked the door, and threw her bookbag down. She got out her diary and pen, and in it she began to write

Dear Diary,
It's Magic Mackenzie again, poofing in
with the next part of my story!
(Ha! See what I did there!)
Well, I guess I should continue my story.
Well, I had it all figured out. My plan.
It was final that I would run away the very next day.
As the next day came, I suspected I would chicken out.
But this wasn't just because, this was for the sake of science.
(Or for the sake of my curiosity, whatever floats your boat.)
But I didn't. I kept my plan and stood tall all day. When I got home,
my heart was pumping and adrenaline was rushing through me.
But oddly I wasn't scared....I was excited.
It all played perfectly. My mom had some meeting
and my siblings stayed locked up in their rooms due to homework.
I finally could sneak out.
I took my phone and charger and shoved it in my pocket, and
tiptoed down the hallway and down the stairs. I grabbed a jacket
and burst outside, feeling free. I grabbed my pre-hidden duffel
bag, and I slung it over my shoulder. I breathed in the cool
refreshing air. This was the air of freedom. But one part of me
didn't quite feel free. Part of me was telling me to move on,
the other part to go back inside. As I turned to go back inside,
I stopped. No, I wasn't letting all my planning go to waste.
Plus, its either adventure or homework.
Adventure.
I flipped heel and took off, holding onto my jacket and duffel bag.
I soon found myself out of breath and walking gingerly on the sidewalk. Yes, I got odd looks from strangers. But I didn't care,
there's no turning back now. As I reached the pizza parlor, I was tempted to get a order of bread sticks.
Hey, don't judge!
But than I realized that since I'm gone, my family is
going to try to look for me, and the teen working seemed
a little suspicious.... Undercover spy much?
He would recognize my face and track me down like a
bounty hunter.
So, I decided to skip the bread sticks.
---
Enough for today.
My hand is getting tired.
Sincerely,
Mackenzie.
(Aka- Magic Mackenzie)

Mackenzie put everything back where it belongs and retrieved her book bag thrown across the room. She sat down on her bed and began her homework.

A/N- I actually wrote the first bit of this last night.
Anyway, thank for 81 reads!
Enjoy!
