I go outside and take a look around to see if there is anyone that wouldn't mind me hanging with them.

There's a girl,
she's on her own.
She's leaning against a tree, reading a book.

I walk up to her nervously.

'Umm, hey.'

She looks up from her book and smiles.

'Oh, hey!'

She shuts her book and puts it in her bag.

'Sorry for randomly coming up to you.'
'Hey, no problem!'
'I just saw you were on your own.'
'Yeah, I don't know anyone here yet. I'm new.'
'You're new?? Me too!'
'Really?!'
'Yeah.'

We smile at eachother and the bell rings.

'You're in my English class aren't you?' She asks.

'Oh. Sorry I didn't pay attention to anyone so I didn't see you in there.'
'It's okay, I see you have problems with Mr Hemmings, he seems kinda harsh on you.'
'I know, it's weird.'

I bite my lip nervously thinking about it.

We walk back to class together and this time, we sit next to each other.
