I walk to the principals office as soon as I arrive in school.

'Good morning, miss Carter.' The principal says as I walk in.

Mr Hinton, he's my new principal.

'Good morning, sir.'
I say before he shoves a guide in my hands.
It's a map of the school, lmao.
Oh, and my timetable.
Just shove it in my hands randomly why not lol,

'Thanks. I will take a look now'
'Hope you have a good first day, if there's any trouble..-'
'I know, I know.. Come here'
I interrupt.
'Well done.' He says with a big grin on his cheesy face.
'- oh, your first lesson is English, in block B, room 34.'
'Thank you, sir. See you soon!'

I rush out.
That was a little awkward.
I know what I'm doing, I don't need his help. I know he's just trying to be kind but seriously..

I stand in the hallway and stare at the map, I figure out where my class is and start to walk there.

A loud, annoying bell rings through my ears.

Oh god; students.
Here they come.

I shove the guide thing into my rucksack and I quickly swing it back over my shoulder.
I rush as fast as possible,
this is so I miss all the people.
I hate being crowded, ew.

Before I know it,
the hallway floods with students
but i make it to class.
I take a glimpse through the door,
there are already people in there.

I'm too shy to look at everyone and definitely don't want the teacher to notice me,
so I rush in and take a seat near the back.
I look down at my desk and then I throw my rucksack onto it.
Grab a pen and my notepad.

I'm sitting there awkwardly avoiding eye contact with anyone.
I just stare at my pen as I move it slightly across the front of my notepad, leaving a little pattern.

I don't even know what the teacher looks like yet,
or any of the students.

A deep voice begins to speak.

'Good morning class, nice to see you all.'

The voice. I recognise it somehow.
I don't want to look up so I try and figure it out in my mind.

I think back to people I've met in the bar.

Oh my god. Please, say it's not Luke. Please
  please
    please!

Don't be Luke.

My heart is beating way too fast and I need to calm down.
It's probably not even him.

I finally lift my head up lightly and look towards the front.

I see the teacher.
