New Life Online Fanfiction: Gun Meets Sword

Chapter 1: guns update

Hello. My name is Devin. I am one of the many players of the virtual reality role-playing game New Life Online (NLO). My character's name is Dscore. I live in an apartment room with my roommate who plays the game too, but until the update, I couldn't play without using his account. Then the update made it possible to save multiple profiles and I jumped right in. I am one of those people who like to do a lot of research on a game they like. The new update released after invasion, was the medieval guns update. Yes, they added guns. Not the modern guns like snipers, shotguns or anything. There were only three main types of guns and they were all old fashioned stuff. Flintlock pistols, Musket rifles, and blunderbuss shotguns. Guns are overpowered but have big downsides people look away from. Gunshots are powerful, almost impossible to dodge, and, the best part, they go through all armor except some shields and monster skin. But the downsides are very painful. Ammo for guns cost a lot of gold, guns can malfunction with dangerous consequences. The main kicker is that all guns have only one bullet before needing to reload, and reloading is a pain in the but it is just so hard to do fast. There are masteries and magic items to help with it, but they are even more expensive than the guns themselves. Some people tried to carry multiple guns so there would be no need to reload, but they were completely broke before they could buy that many.
Anyways, that's the update. Now my character. He has a violin which he transfers his support spells. Any friend who hears his music is affected. But he can also use his voice to target himself or only one friend. He has twin pistols, and a magic enchant that instantly teleports bullets into my gun after each shot. I also have a heavy shield and greatsword for melee combat, and a dragon-tooth dagger for surprise attacks. I also have the medal that lows down the weight of the stuff I carry. At times though, the stuff I carry still hurts my back. Here is my character stats

As you saw, I don't have a monster soul stone yet. I wanted it to be strong and helpful, and have it be something I can actually take out. And today, I think I've finally found it.
