Jordan’s P.O.V

 *3 months later

“Where are my earrings?!” Kat screeched. She ran around the dorm room and searched wildly for her brand new earrings that she bought just yesterday. “My outfit isn’t complete without the earrings!”

Willow walked over to the dresser, opened a cabinet, and pulled out the two sparkly earrings. “Right here, Kat,” she said and handed the earrings over to her.

Kat let out a relieved sigh. “Oh my goodness, thank you, you’re a life saver.”

“No problem.” Willow nodded towards me. “Are you ready?”

I looked down at my purple dress and shook my head. Though I was already wearing my dress, my hair and makeup needed to be done. I pointed to my face. “Not exactly,” I replied. “Hair and makeup needs to be done. Ya know, as soon as Kat is over with her forty five minutes of standing in front of the mirror and getting ready.”

Kat completely ignored what I said and sauntered over to the mirror once more, putting on her earrings. It’s a graduation, Kat. Not a big fancy ball.

Yeah, you heard right, today is graduation day! Well, for Heather. I don’t know where all the time has gone, but here we are now, all done with our years in school, and Heather was completely done with it all!

The door burst open and I immediately turned my head to see a smiling Rachael. After she gave birth to her two little boys, Jay ended up proposing to her and those two were planning on getting married later in the summer. They wanted Tom and Heather to have their shining moment first. Caleb and Kevin were both healthy newborns and at the moment, they were spending time with their dad and their four uncles.

“Come here next door Jordan, I’ll do your hair and makeup for you,” Rachael said.

“Thank you very much.” I stood up and walked out the door, making my way into Rachael and Heather’s room. Heather wasn’t in there, she got up early in the morning, got dressed, and went away to practice her graduation speech and all that stuff. We didn’t really get to see her this morning, but we’ll by far be the loudest in the crowd when she gets her diploma.

“I still can’t believe Heather is already graduating.” Rachael gestured for me to sit down in front of the mirror as she went to go grab her hair and makeup things. “I know she’s the oldest one out of all of us, but I just can’t grasp on the fact that she’s growing up so fast.”

I nodded in agreement. “And she’s getting married in two weeks,” I added. “She’s been planning every single detail of her wedding since we were little kids, remember that? We’d be sitting all together over someone’s house for a sleepover and we’d plan each other’s weddings, hoping one day it all comes to life.”

“Seems like it was just yesterday that Heather was full on committed to the fact that she’d marry Justin Timberlake when *NSYNC first came out.” She chuckled. “Oh, we were crazy kids back then.”

“And we still are.” I looked down at my nails and smiled. Nathan treated me to a free day at the nail salon and I got my nails all prettied up. He’s so sweet for spending so much money on me, even though I keep telling him not to.

Rachael made me tilt my head to the side as she got out her curling iron and did her magic. She always had an interest in hairstyling. Kat was your little fashionista, Heather was pretty good with makeup, and Rachael was stellar with hairstyling. I don’t know how Willow and I could ever get anywhere looking so good without them.
