Nathan’s P.O.V

This “date” was going terrible.

Or at least it was terrible for me.

Dionne and I stood in the front row, so she couldn’t help but freak out every time Louis came within a five feet radius from her. She kept squealing and jumping every time One Direction started a new song or were in the middle of one.

Don’t get me wrong, the boys are cool and their music and nice and all, but I really don’t wanna be here right now.

I would rather be with Jordan. I wanna hold her. I wanna kiss her. I just wanna be with her right now. I haven’t seen her in almost a month now since the summer ended and every day just got worse for me.

And now with Dionne, everything is just horrible.

But I keep remembering what our manager said if I couldn’t pull through with this dating thing.

He would replace me.

And trust me, I love being in The Wanted. The boys are like four older idiotic brothers I’ve always wanted….sometimes. But all in all, I love my job and I could not see myself doing anything but singing.

And I also knew that Jordan really wanted me to pull through with this. Of course she didn’t wanna see me with Dionne, but she too was so supportive of me living my dream and she didn’t want me to lose this fantastic career.

And that’s when I decided to give in and step up my acting abilities. I didn’t really want to be with Dionne, but I didn’t wanna let anyone down either.

So that’s why at that moment, I forced myself to scootch over to Dionne and wrap my arm around her, pulling her close to me.

It honestly felt so uncomfortable, but I knew it was what I had to do.

Dionne, shocked by this sudden gesture, but happy at the same time, went along and snuggled into my arm, continuing to sing along to the song that One Direction were singing at the moment.

Jordan’s P.O.V

“Why the heck is there nothing to watch on TV?!” Willow exclaimed and threw the remote across the room.

Kat jumped at Willow’s throw and clutched her heart, breathing heavily. “Willow! Don’t scare me like that!” she said.

Willow gave Kat an apologetic look and got up from her bed to grab the remote on the other side of the room.

Heather and Rachael entered the room, laughing at something they heard outside. They continued laughing and fell down onto the two beanbags on the floor. It was only around 5:30pm, so we all wanted to hang out together and hopefully call the boys.

“What time is Nathan supposed to be back from his ‘date’?” Rachael asked and looked at her phone.

I shuddered at the thought of Nathan being out on a date with anyone that wasn’t me, but I just kept it cool and picked up my iPhone from the nightstand. I quickly added some numbers in my mind and replied, “He should be back by now. The concert is supposed to last like 3 hours.”

Rachael nodded and clutched her stomach, throwing her head back in pain. “Oohh I feel the sickness coming…” she groaned.

Willow fake gagged and pointed to the door. “Girl, don’t tell me you’re gonna puke, just go to the bathrooms and do that!” she exclaimed.

Rachael was about to shake her head, but I guess that sickness was too much for her. She immediately stood up and bolted out the door to the bathrooms.
