Finishing her letter to Deston, Sanira smiled to herself as she thought about the letter that he had sent her as soon as he had returned to Aeredale.
He had been so eager to tell her about things back home, to reassure her that little had changed since she had been gone even if the days ticked by without anything to report.
Sanira had thrown herself into her lessons with Catelyn, the older woman was happy to take her under her wing and show her the ropes especially on running a castle like Winterfell.
There was much for Sanira to learn and she was grateful for any advice that Catelyn offered her, especially on things that her own mother had neglected to teach her.
If she wasn't with Catelyn then Sanira found herself spending time with the younger Stark children, she found herself especially close with Sansa and Arya even if the two sisters didn't get along in the slightest.
The two were as different as day and night, they would never truly get along especially as children although Sanira had to wonder if they might do so when they were older.
Hearing the bedroom door open, Sanira smiled turning around in her seat to see Robb enter the room; while it might have been slow to form, Sanira would not deny that she had a slight fondness for her husband.
It was strange, she had never thought such a thing would be possible but slowly he was worming his way into her heart; his sweet little gestures warmed her heart.
Whether it was the new furs that had appeared in her wardrobe or the evenings that they spent together talking, Sanira knew that she was lucky to have been married to a man such as him.
"You're back late," Sanira head placing down her quill, she had expected him back sooner and she was used to spending her quiet evenings with him when there was nothing that Catelyn needed her to do.
They talked during this time that was afforded for them, it was nice and Sanira liked their talks since it allowed them to bond; she raised an eyebrow at the puddle that Robb was creating on the floor.
"Theon was causing trouble again," Robb explained feeling a little stupid, he couldn't believe that woman had thrown a bucket of water at him when he'd had nothing to do with Theon sleeping with her sister.
Sanira nodded her head, she got to her feet and moved to find Robb a towel before he caught a cold; she could only imagine what trouble Theon was causing now.
Theon was still someone that made Sanira wary, she tended to avoid the Greyjoy heir not feeling comfortable around him; there was something about him that set her on edge and made her want to avoid him completely.
"You should change out of those clothes. I'll track down a maid to prepare you a bath," Sanira said smiling at Robb, she handed him the towel and moved to step out of the room to give him some privacy.
They were doing well and Sanira didn't want to make things awkward, she liked Robb and the fact that he was willing to wait to consummate their marriage eased her mind.
Watching Sanira step out of the room, Robb smiled to himself before he started to strip out of his wet clothes; he liked seeing Sanira content and it had taken them a while to get to this point.
It was still strange to think that she was his wife and Robb was certain that in time they would be close like his mother and father were; he'd hate to end up with a marriage like Sanira's parents.
Shaking his head, Robb sighed and wondered what Rolan had seen in Arlenna, she seemed like such a cold woman and the Lannister reputation was clearly true.
