Part of my mind was telling me I should be uncomfortable with the fact that my boyfriend's ex was here but I couldn't find it in myself to dislike her.

"Em, this is London." Cal introduced me, wrapping his arm around my waist and pulling me closer. The inner fangirl in me came out again and I almost squealed when Emma came in for a hug, "It's so nice to meet you!" She exclaimed, smiling her award winning smile, "god, you look so pretty!" Blushing, I reminded myself to remain calm, "Thank you! It's so nice to meet you!" I returned the smile, trying not to obsess over her beautiful eyes.

"So, how did the two of you meet?" Emma asked, settling onto the bar stool beside Arzaylea. Surprising me, Calum smiled fondly, down at me "We actually met here...about a week and a half ago...She was getting hit on by a bartender and like the gentleman I am, I told him to back off-" Arzaylea let out a giggle, "So, that you could hit on her?" Shamelessly, Cal nodded, pecking my cheek before continuing, "And then I figured out that London hadn't heard of the band before-" Emma raised her eyebrows, the ghost of disbelief crossed her features but she didn't comment,"So, I was telling her about us ...rambling probably but she humored me and agreed to give us a listen-" Michael interrupted, giggling "Is this the part in the story where I interrupted you guys...'dancing' ?" Rolling his eyes, Calum nodded... "I don't know, I guess the story really isn't anything special...I saw her, I wanted to get to know her, I did."

Whether or not it was a hugely romantic ordeal, It was prefect and I wouldn't change it, not if I was given a million chances.

"Well, no matter what brought you together...you guys are goals." Emma said, raising her shot and downing it, "now lets celebrate that amazing performance."

And celebrate we did.

but, finally, at almost two o'clock in the morning, we had all had entirely too much to drink and danced until our feet hurt and we were all in desperate need of sleep. Yawning and fighting the urge to take off these uncomfortable heels, I intertwined our fingers and followed Calum out the front door, bracing myself for the screams. At two a.m ...they were still there, shrieking when the boys stepped outside. Cradling me closer, Cal pulled me through the crowd waving at a few of the girls and smiling tiredly.

I knew the drill with the fandom...So, as a new part of Calum's life, I didn't expect a warm welcome from any of them but I couldn't help the slight spike of jealousy when I heard someone yell for Emma. Glancing back, I see girls struggling to get close enough to take pictures with her, Emma stopping to take selfies with them, like a celebrity. I understand that her and Calum dated for forever but a majority of the fam hated her?...But suddenly she's as famous as Cal and she's their hero?

God, London! Calm down! I realized how ridiculous I sounded and shook my head to clear the  thoughts from my mind and followed Cal to the Uber that waited for us. "But, my car." I mumbled into his chest.

"We'll come back for it, Baby." He assured me, helping me into the car and giving the driver my address. Nodding sleepily, I rested my head back onto his chest and snuggled closer to his body. "Sleep, Angel." Calum whispered, kissing my forehead lightly and beginning to slowly run his fingers through my hair. Breathing him in, with arms around me, I began to nod off.

Jerking awake, I sat up in the cab of the car, looking around frantically trying to recognize my surroundings. "Hey! Hey, Babygirl." Calum placed a hand on each of my cheeks, making me look into his eyes. "I'm right here...We're back at your apartment." As my heart rate slowed, I glanced around, noticing my building outside of the car. "Oh," I blushed, "I'm sorry." Chuckling lightly, Calum shook his head. "It's okay." Calum helped me out of the car, turning to the driver. "I'll be right back."

Pouting, I looked up at him "Can you stay with me?" Sober London would never have asked, but drunk London just wanted to be close to him and couldn't stand the thought of sleeping alone. The driver smirked when Calum nodded and waved as he drove off. "No need to pout, Sweetheart." Calum said, poking my pouted lower lip, "I will stay anytime you ask." cupping my cheek, he gazed into my eyes and leaned down, eyes dropping to my lips. "Lon-" interrupting him, I gripped the back of Cal's neck and pulled my face up to his, crashing my lips into his and gasping at the electricity that ran through my body when I did. He kissed me the night we met, but this was different...I'm his now and he's mine and the feeling was tangible in the way that he gripped my body, pressing it against his. "god, what are you doing to me?" Calum whispered into the kiss, before opening his eyes and picking me up. I wanted to object and insist that I'm capable of walking, but I just ended up resting my head on his chest and closing my eyes, contently.

What was I doing to him?...I have no idea...but I could already tell what he was doing to me...making me fall hopelessly in love with the boy that I thought I already loved.

I thought that I loved him, but I loved the boy that I thought I knew...I knew everything there was to know but I couldn't have guessed how soft his lips were...how rough his calloused fingertips felt against my skin...How good my name sounded, rolling off of his tongue...I'm falling in love with this boy that I'm getting to know ...not the boy on my poster and not the boy on my computer...the boy in front of me.
