Crystal's POV:

I looked at Nate and gave him a warning look. I mean, you can't just be mates with one of my best friend and not tell me. I mean, I should know everything because... I don't know why, but I should know everything. I looked at Lizzie and said:

"Hey Liz, could you please play for me right now? Nate and I are going to get some food." I told her and made a face at Nate to make sure he wouldn't object me. He looked at me, a little sad. Probably because he has to leave Lizzie.

"We are?" He said hopefully, asking to stay and daydream about how beautiful Lizzie's hair looks when she looks to the left.

I walked toward him, grabbed his hand, and pulled him up. "Yeah, we are." I angrily whispered. He looked confused, definitely thinking nobody knew his little secret.

We walked toward the kitchen; I was giving him my evil glare, but he just pretended nothing was going on. I walked to the cabinet and got some Doritos, because they are Doritos and once you taste some, you can't go back. I turned around and looked at him. He hesitated first, but then looked at me.

We had a staring contest, but of course, I won. He searched my face for any clue as to why he was being stared down, and I gave him a "What The Fug?" look.

"Okay, I give up" He said. "What's with the look?" He asked.

"What look?" I asked innocently, but when he gave me a WTF look, I said "Ohhh, you mean the look that says 'You are freaking mates with my best friend and you didn't tell anyone?'" I asked, more betrayed than mad.

His eyes widened, he looked at me then relaxed. He ran a hand through his hair and said "Fine, you got me. Yes, I am mates with Lizzie." He said, worried again.

"Why haven't you freaking told her?! She will go nuts!" I said, excited. He looked at me then smiled. That kind of smile makes me feel special.

I mean, I know I can be funny, but everyday my goal in the day is to make someones day so that it would automatically make my day. So yes, I make people smile everyday, because life is too short to frown. I want to be there for them and help them go to the right path.

"What if she rejects me? What if I am not good enough? What if-?" I stopped him.

"Nate, have you heard yourself? Those are all 'what ifs'. They will never be true if you don't fight for what you believe or want. Nate, you are a great person and any girl would be lucky to have you as their mates, but you got to trust you guts, kid. I mean, she is your soul-mate, you got to fight for what you believe. If she rejects you, fight; don't loose the love of your life because you are scared or you think you are not good enough. We only get one chance in our life, and we can choose to fight for what is ours, or we can just give in. And I am sure as Heavens know you won't give up!" I told him and made sure as Heavens to make him believe my words.

He looked amused first, then he told me "Now I know the answer for the question that everyone keeps asking themselves." He smiled, I looked at him, confused, and he said "You would make a great Luna, you know? You are not the leader type, that is for sure, but you are the type that will be there to support anybody through the good and bad times!" He smiled.

I looked at him, shocked. I mean, no one has ever told me how special I was in their life. I nodded my head and thanked him

"Thank you by the way, for all those thoughtful words." He said, then ran a hand through his hair again. "But I don't know how to tell her." He sighed.

"I say you tell her as soon as possible, but I also understand that you want to make it special. So, why don't you ask her on a date? I don't know... Maybe tell her then and see what floats in this river for you guys." I said.

"Yeah, I was thinking about asking her on a date and making it special, but what if she says no? I mean... I don't know; I am just scared." He admitted.

I looked at him; he is just so sweet and scared that she will reject him. I feel so bad for him, and the only way to help him is by...

"Ummm, fine I got the answer for your problem, but do you have all the things planned out for the date? Can it happen today?" I asked.

He looked at his watch, thought about it, and said "Yeah, I have all the date planned out, and it is only 9 am right now; I think I can do this, but how are you going to help me with the asking out problem?" He asked.

"Simple," I said. I went to the bottom of the stairs and shouted. "Pack meeting in 1!" Next thing I know, everyone was running to the study room.

I walked slowly to the study as well. Alec passed me and he looked like he had been awake for a while now. Ummm... I don't really care. I made it to the study and sat on Alec's desk. I looked around and was surprised with what I saw. This is going to be good.

"Guys, I think we have worked hard in this war, and we need a break." I smirked. "So that is why I decided that we are going on dates!" They looked confused, so I continued." I will go with Alec, City will go with Sam, Taylor will go with Antonio, Catlyn will go with Cody, and Lizzie will go with Nate." I winked at Nate when I was done.

He smiled gratefully, then turned back to look dreamily at Lizzie. I saw that they were about to protest so I used my power. I guess that gift was given to me for a purpose...

"And that's a Luna's order." I said in an Alpha-Luna-ish tone. Alec smiled proudly at me. "You and your date will leave at 7, and that is final, and I want a 'date', not just an 'Okay, let's go to McDonald's!' thing. So guys, please try and do something nice. I promise this will be fun." I smiled then looked at Alec and nodded my head to show him I was done, and that if he wanted to add anything, he could.

"You heard what LUNA said! Guys, make good reservations, and girls, look pretty." He smirked and said "Meeting dismissed."

Now I know why he smirked...

1) This is our first date

2) I just admitted to myself and everyone else that I was a Luna, meaning I admitted myself that I was his mate...

NOOOO!
