Crystal's POV:

I woke up and looked to my left to see what time it was. 6:23 a.m. I couldn't sleep because of the battle we had yesterday. First, because I am really sore, and second, because we lost. Yeah, that's right; we lost the battle. But not the war. Sure, they are ahead of us but there is a lot of colors in this rainbow, and I don't give up.

So the score currently is: Us= 3, Them= 4.

I got out of bed and went to take a shower. I am pretty sure nobody is awake yet. The warm water on my body helped a lot with my sore muscles. When I was done, it was already 6:45a.m. I decided to put on sweatpants and a T-shirt. I made my hair in a messy bun and went downstairs to have some breakfast.

When I got to the kitchen, I was surprise to see him there. I mean, sure, yesterday was an eventual day, but 7 in the morning doesn't suit him well. I walked to the cabinet and took a granola bar for breakfast. I then sat on the balcony and looked at him.

"We never talk that much, you know?!" I said  He looked at me and smiled. His smile was the kind of smile that mentally says "Yeah, I wish we did." kind of a thing.

"Yeah I know, you seem like a cool person to talk to, but I never thought you would be so kind as to be friends with me. I mean, Antonio is gay, and I am just..." He trailed off. "Nate!" he said.

"Nate, you are funny, and I always wanted a pony, so it is a win-win relationship." I innocently smiled and walked to the fridge to get some orange juice. Nate handed me a cup, still confused, and I poured some orange juice for me.

"Pony? I am confused. Please use your wand and enlighten my brainless zone." He said trying to look mad, but it didn't really work because I could see he was fighting a smile.

"You see Nate, once upon a time there was the most beautiful, precious, hot, sexy, tap-able, intelligent, hot stuff, amazing, eye..." 

"Okay, we get it, you are something." He smirked and waited for me to continue. 

"So as I was saying... there was me. I would walk and have so much fun with my friends, but they were all girls. And think, that little poor girl just wished to have a guy friend that would be so nice as to give her the only wish she had." I stop and hold one finger showing that I needed a moment. I pretended I was crying then I continued. "She just wanted a piggyback ride; just a friend that was willing to give her a piggyback ride. That is not asking too much, right?" I asked sobbing. I should be an actress because he was buying my little act.

"Ohh, you poor thing, nobody wants to give you a piggyback ride?" He asked and I nodded. He turned his back to me and said "Hop on, Cowgirl."

I jumped on his back. I was smiling like crazy; First piggyback ride. SCORE! 

"Where to m'lady?" He asked and I laughed. I was thinking, where should we go...?

"Game room please!" I said, so he nodded and started walking. "Go Pony, GO!" I shouted. I don't care that people are sleeping, this is a once a life-time moment.

We got to the game room in record time, thanks to Nate. He dropped me on the couch then he sat besides me. He looked at me then said.

"So what does your majesty kindly feel like doing today?" I thought about it and said:

"How about we play a game, Alfred? And please, we are done with the majesty; you know you can call me batman." He smiled and went to look for game for us to play.

*1 Hour Later*

"In you face Sucker, not in my face, but in your face " I shouted. We decided to play C.O.D., he said he would go easy on me because I am girl, but as it ends out I am so much better then he is in this game.

Score: Me= 16 and Him= 1 (I let him win that time)...

"That was beginner's luck!" He said, mad, but amused at the same time. Then somebody came in, Lizzy. She looked and gave me the look. The look that says " You did the C.O.D. trick again" and I just smiled.

"Don't worry Nate, she does the 'I don't know how to play C.O.D.' thing, but she is actually one of the best players I could even think of!" She gave him a sweet smile. I looked at Nate, and was surprise to see the look on his face. 

I know that look.

They are ...

Mates!!!
