Felicity POV

As I walked through the door a man in a suit greeted me, and he asked politely to take my things. I nodded my thanks and with that, he took off down the hallway. I took this chance to look around. The sight made me gasp.

The place looked bigger inside, than outside. The ceiling was high up and a crystal chandelier was dangling from it. The floors were made out of dark marble and the walls a light creamy color. Off to the side were two hallways that lead somewhere. I probably looked funny with my eyes wide open and my jaw hanging and about to hit the floor.

"It's not lady like to gawk. I thought you were raised better. Your parents did spoil you when you were young. ", avoice said. I turned around and saw my grandma. She had a sweet smile but sternness in her eyes. When I was younger, she wanted me to be like a princess, not the spoil kind either. She would make sure I sit up straight, walk correctly, speak like an adult, and all that jazz.  Around the age of three, my mother told her enough. Both of my parents loved me, and they wanted me to have a normal childhood, so we left to America.

I looked at her again; she carried herself well, and I respected her immediately. From what my parents told me, she was wise and not someone to mess with. Another thing they told was not to call her Nana or Grandma, but her name, Elaine.

"Well we shouldn't waste time, you have much to learn and standing around isn't going to help. First thing's first, I want you to get out of you out of your American getup, and change. Then we can start from there." Grandm.. Elaine said. I shook my head.

"Where are my parents? I thought I would be meeting them. Plus why can't I wear my normal clothes?" I asked. They were not fashion worthy: jeans, converse, and a band t-shirt, but I liked these clothes.

"Rule number one: don't talk back. Rule number two: do as I say. I understand that in your circumstances you are unaware of these things, but we will fix that. As for your parents, they are on a business trip." She shook her head and mumbles things like " Young people these day..."

She calls out, "Sandra, can you take my granddaughter upstairs to her room. Make sure she is comfortable and settles in."  Then she turns to me, "dinner will be ready at six o'clock sharp. I expect good behavior. If you need any help, ask Sandra." She turns around and walks down a hallway. I hear her heels click clack, click clack as each step sends a wave of authority to me.

A werewolf girl came up from behind and bowed. " My mistress called me to help you. My name is Sandra, your highness." I cringed at the title. I put my hand on her shoulder.

"There is no need for titles." I smiled at her and took out my hand. She hesitated before she shook it. "My name is Felicity. And thank you for your help." She nodded and motioned for me to follow her.

After a bunch of confusing turns, we came to a room. " This is your room, I hope you like it. Elaine picked out the colors." Sandra said.

Once again I gawked, this time not in a good way. Everything was pink, all different shade of pink. The bed had a fancy curtain around it. The floor was wooden, but on it was a big pink fuzzy rug. The wall was baby pink. Even the dressers were pink. My bed was hot pink with different animal prints. I winced, I appreciated the thought but animal prints were too much.

"If you dislike it Miss, I could ask to change it." Sandra said. As much as I want to get on Elaine good side, I had to switch up. I nodded and asked if she could help. She looked shocked, but recovered. I smiled and nodded my thanks. She smiled and left, saying that I should unpack.

I looked around and thought of the things I might keep pink. After unpacking everything, the clock on my nightstand read 4:45p.m. I better get ready. I gather some clothes and head for the shower.
