I am so so sorry. School been such a hassle. I think they should consider it child abuse, oh well. I know this is a not good enough excuse, but it's all we have. Thanks for sticking with us and enjoy the chapter.

Sam's POV

This date was going along perfectly. The skies were clear, holding a big, full moon. The dinner smelled great, and I had my mate with me. It is not official, but I feel like she could be the one; the yin to my yang; the cheese to my noodles; the peanut to my jelly... You catch my drift. Felicity was gorgeous and her laugh was musical. If I died now, I would die happy.

The waiter walked away, and I could tell Felicity was confused.

"I already ordered it. I hope you don't mind." I said. Instantly, she relaxed.

"Nope" she said, popping the "p". I mentally chuckled.

"Sam!" a familiar voice shouted. Oh no. It's her; Jessica, my fiancee. Where did she come from?! I ran away from home because my parents and her parents were best friends. They arranged this marriage, seeing that neither of us had mates. I was all happy with it until I figured who she really was... An annoying, selfish child. I told her many times to leave me alone, so how did she find me? It just dawned on me that she is going to blow everything. I could feel the blood in my face draining. I need to tell Felicity before she does. I didn't realized what was happening until I saw Jessica on my lap. I was too shocked to pushed her off, and she kissed me. I felt nothing except disgust.

Get this tramp off your lap! She is not your mate! My wolf yelled.

Be quiet. I got this under control.

I looked up to see Felicity, and my wolf whimpered. She was trying to look mad, but all I saw was hurt and betrayal. I wanted to run up to her and hugged her, and kiss her; saying it was not true, but it was. Jessica's bodyguard came behind her and held her so she wouldn't pounce.

How dare he touch her?! I'm gonna rip him apart! My wolf cried out in anger.

"Is there a problem?" A waiter came and asked.

"Oh yeah, there is..." Felicity started, but I cut her off.

"...No, I am sorry for the scene." She gave me a pissed off look. I don't need her to create more problems; I need to settle this.

"What's going on?" She asked in a quiet voice. I was dying inside. She had so much pain in her voice that I wanted to killed the bastard that hurt her, but I am that bastard.

"Fel-City, I am so, so sorry! I was going to tell you when everything it was dealt with." I pleaded.

"I will tell her, baby. Okay, here it is. We are engaged; him and I are going to get married. Do you understand?" Jessica said.

"I-is it true?" Felicity asked. No.

"Yes..." I whispered. I tore my eyes away from hers.

"Sam, I hate you. You built my hopes up and tore them down. How could you do that to me?! I never want to see your face again. Every time I will hear your voice or name, I am going to feel disgusted. I hope you and your fiancee have a happy ending together, because you and I sure won't. I can't be with someone who is full of lies. Goodbye Sam, and good bye blond cow." Her voice was calm. Those words struck me. Hard. And boy did it hurt... Tears pricked my eyes, but I don't care. I am a fool, and I lost everything. She walked out.
