Past Memories and Hopes

Part 6

Inuyasha wakes up to the sent of Naraku. "Hey you guys i smell Naraku" He says quite loudly. 

Neira runs outside.

"Well hello, i guess the rumors are true then? Children from the future are here in the past then?" Naraku says with a grin on his face. 

"Oh shut up. We're gonna end you here and now" She says in a low growl.

"Oh? A quarter demon end me? The all powerful Naraku? I don't think so." Naraku says then attacking them. 

Neira jumps out of the way "Oh shut up. I'm no weakling"

"Oh but you are." Naraku says attacking again. 

She dodges and pulls out her blade "Like hell i am"

Naraku attacks one last time before putting up his barrier. 

She dodges and the blade starts to turn red "Your not so bright are you? Or is it simply that you havent noticed"

"Oh but Inuyasha has already tried to use the red Tensiaga on my barriers. It never works." Naraku says. 

Shinra runs out getting her blade out as well. "Well you've never seen my sword and two barrier breaker attacks at once will be sure to break that fun little barrier of yours." 

"That and my blade is stronger then his" Neira says

Naraku leaves "I'll be back children. I'll be back" 

Shinra sheaths her sword "That stupid bastard doesn't know what he's in for" 

"Yeah no kidding" Neira says and puts her sword away.

"What did do you mean when you said you're blade was stronger than mine? Do i make you you're own sword out of my fang in the future or something?" Inuyasha asks confused. 

"God your a moron. I just had it out and you cant tell?"

"Wait do i end up giving my sword up?!!" He asks alarmed. 

"You died! what part of that was unclear?"

"Oh.. Yeah i forgot... I'm gonna go inside now" Inuyasha says going inside.

"No offense but Inuyasha is a dumb-ass sometimes." Shinra says. 

"Yeah its gonna drive me insane one of these days" Neira says and sighs

"What are we gonna do? We can't exactly go and kill him yet" Shinra says. 

"maybe hunt down that bitch he ran off with...." Neira mutters under her breath.

Shiro walks out "Do i soak someone?" 

"No wont do any good. Gonna go for a walk. I'll be back shortly" Neira says

"Okay" Shiro says. 

Shinra goes back inside and walks up to Karu "Naraku just left. He doesn't have a barrier that we can't break anymore so he probably will wait a while before attacking us again." 

Karu nods slightly "Neira going off on her own? Not sure thats a wise idea"

"She needs to be alone right now. But i'm sure Kohaku is following behind to make sure she isn't hurt." Shinra says. 

Karu nods slightly.

"I don't like not being able to have privacy here. That's the one of the  bad things is that we have very little privacy while on the run like this" Shinra says sitting down. 

"Yeah but it cant be helped" Karu says

"I know i know. I just don't like it." Shinra says. 

"Why would you want privacy little sister? What do you do exactly in private that you wouldn't be able to do here? Beside bathe but you knew that was gonna be an issue." Shinoku says curious. 

"Watch it" She says getting her posion claws ready showing him visibly. 

Karu growls and looks at him "I'd keep your mouth shut if i was you"

"So are all the wolves Koga's or no?" Inuyasha asks strolling the room. 

"Hell no ass" Karu says and narrows his eyes.

"I have a feeling that you don't like me. Any reason why?" Inuyasha asks. 

"Havent been given a reason to like you"

"Wait are you and her dating?" Inuyasha asks 

"Do you want to die?"

"Well no.  Never mind." he says sitting down 

Karu sighs softly and closes his eyes

"Ignore the idiot." Shinra whispers in his ear before kissing him on the cheek. 

Karu nods "Trying"

Outside Shiro and Millie are talking. "Inuyasha is gonna get himself killed before the end of this day" Shiro says. 

Millie nods "If not by his daughter then by someone else"

"No kidding. He's not very bright. But in the end i'm sure everything will end up okay. " Shiro says. 

"Yeah maybe" Millie says

"Well hopefully anyways. Bad thing is that i can't save my mom. She dies in birthing me or that's what dad said." 

"Yeah thats kinda sad but unfortunately it cant be changed. not by us anyway"

"Yeah. At least we'll be able to save most of the other parents anyways." Shiro says. 

"Yeah i guess so. Seems a bit unfair though" Millie says

"Yeah..." He says distracted. His barrier appears moments later. "Some one is near that is not part of the group." He says being able to sense his aura. 

Millie nods and stands "We should tell the others"

"Yeah. You guys come here please. Someone is near that shouldn't be. I think it may be Sesshomaru"  Shiro says. 

"Seems likely. Havent seen him yet" Millie says and looks around.

Renee and Shinoku turn into their dog forms and follow the scent to the border of the barrier. Renee turns human again. "It's dad. Be careful with him but he won't hurt anyone here but Inuyasha but if Neira sees him he'll die. Shinoku already wants to kill him but without me he wouldn't be able to." 

"Alright. Lets just let him pass by on his own. If he doesnt come by here no point in fighting him" Karu says.

Shiro takes the barrier down and Shinra turns into a ball of light and finds him. 

They come back together a couple minutes later. "Well hello everyone. I just stopped by to see if Naraku has been near here?" Sesshamoru says. 

"Yes so how about you go fuck yourself and leave before my daughter comes back and kills your ass." Inuyasha says. 

"Oh she won't do  that. It would cause her dear cousins to disappear now wouldn't it?"  Sesshamoru says. 

"doesnt mean i wouldnt nearly kill you" Neira says landing next to him

"I'd better get going. But i'm sure we'll meet again" Sesshamoru says leaving.
