The Doctors hands were barely anything but a blur as he flipped switches, turned knobs, and pressed buttons. Once he glanced over at Rose for a second and winked. She felt her ears turn red immediately and she covered her face with her book pretending to read. She didn't even read the title when she grabbed it as in excuse to follow the Doctor into the control room. He was so attractive when he was working on the TARDIS. He stopped and whipped of his hands. He gave her a smile. He looked over at the book she was reading and had to cover his mouth to keep from laughing.
"What?" She asked feeling a little annoyed. He raised his eyebrows and pointed at her book. Rose actually read the title for the first time.
Why Outdoor Sex is Healthy.
Rose let out a small squeak and threw it to the ground. The Doctor gave small laugh and grabbed it off the floor.
"Present from Jack." He smiled mockingly. "I think its a load of rubbish. What if you got bugs in your-" he gestured towards his privates. "Area" he whispered now. Rose felt ridiculous, she covered her face with her hands and blushed heavily. He held it out as if to hand it to her. "Wait tell you get to chapter 3" he winked.
"You read it!?" Rose squealed.
"Not exactly, Jack read it to me. I told him to stop but he refused." Rose chuckled slightly and knocked it out of his hands back onto the floor. "Come on! We've got a whole planet to explore Rose." He skipped to the door. "Its winter all year round here. Constantly snowing but also not at all cold compared to Earths winters." Rose rolled her eyes and also ran after the the Doctor. The moment they opened the door, they were greeted with a beautiful species. Rose didn't know what they were called but was amazed. They had markings on their face, that seemed as normal as freckles for them. Also a tail like a cat. The Doctor now had a grin on his face as he stepped out.
"Freezing out eh, mate?" A passing stranger called. The Doctor just nodded and grabbed Roses hand. The moment they stopped outside the TARDIS their feet sank into feet of snow. To Roses surprise, it wasn't cold at all, neither warm. The Doctor pulled her through the snow smiling like crazy.
"Where are we going?" Rose panted trying to walk through all the snow.
"Surprise, I think you'll like it." The doctor grinned Rose couldn't help but smile too, it seemed almost contagious. After walking through feet of snow for almost an hour they finally walked into a beautiful shop that was selling jeweled and had flowers like Rose had never seen before, growing off the walls. Rose gasped and looked around.
"I knew you'd like it." The Doctor squeezed her hand. "What would you like?" Rose's eyes widened
"Your joking! this stuff must be so expensive." Rose gasped.
"Nah." He looked around "nothing I can't afford." Rose rolled her eyes and studied the jewellery a bit closer. Her eyes kept coming back to a beautiful ring that had some kind a crystal way better then any diamond back home. The Doctor grabbed it carefully.
" Right then!" He said walking to a desk he threw some kind of coins on the desk and headed back out side the shop. Rose followed him without saying a word. As they looked outside screams started erupting from the people on the streets. Rose gasped
"What's happening!?" Rose gasped looking at the doctor. He kept his eyes focused on the city.
"I believe," he said a concerned look on his face. "It's stopped snowing."
