Finally, she rings him up one day and he answers.
"Hello?'
"Ringo."
"...Marina? I haven't heard from you in...awhile."
"And whose fault is that, hm?"
For a moment, Ringo doesn't respond and she fears that he's going to hang up.
Then, "I can explain."
"Oh really?"
He sighs. "Yes, really. Meet me at the cafè downtown tomorrow, one o'clock. I'll explain everything."
"If you're just going to stand me up—"
"I won't. I promise."
