This book is very undeveloped.
Enjoy

"That is not how a princess behaves!" Yelled the queen, my mother, when I let the tower of books topple off of my head.
"A princess must stand tall, yet graceful, she must be delicate and polite and under NO circumstances must she know how to use a sword. A princess must use her voice and actions to achieve something, not weapons or force."
"Yes, mother."
"Now shoo! Prince Alex will be here in a couple of hours!"
When I was walking down the hall I stopped by a mirror
I'll need to tell Mother that my hair is changing color again... but I hate going through the Procedure. I think while I look that my reflection. I hope that prince Alex doesn't notice. Blargh! Since when do I care what he thinks..?
My mother, Queen Clarice hopes to unite our two kingdoms but she has seem to forget that I'm only 16 and Alex is 18.
Ever since the rumors that the evil Black Marks are going to attack our small (but beautiful) kingdom, my mother wanted to form an alliance with the strongest kingdom.
A permanent one, that involves me marrying prince Alex!
The Black Marks are a group of people who wish to do harm to my family and our kingdom. The Marks can be identified by having raven-black hair, which is very rare as everyone in our kingdom has blonde or brown hair.
If it wasn't clear, I despise Alex all he thinks about is himself, his favorite part of the palace is not the library (which is my favorite place) but the hall of mirrors!
We are opposites when I like reading he likes fixing his hair when I challenge him to a duel he refuses to accept my challenges because I'm "a princess and princesses can't fight".
What kind of sorry excuse is that! I'll tell you! It's a bad one! But being the princess of Inka I have to put my country before my feelings.
I know! I'll go for a ride. It always calms me down! With that, I storm away from my mirror, put on my favorite hat because I'm not allowed to show the roots of my hair and run out of the palace, I get on my horse Autumn and ride off towards the forest.
In the princess's kingdom, your fate depends on the color of your hair. If you're blonde, you have a trace of royal blood, and if both of your parents have gold hair you will become the next ruler of Inka, if none of your parents have blonde then you have to work at the palace. If you have brown hair, congratulations, you can work any job you want, become anything, marry someone blonde or brown-haired. Anything you want! If you have black hair, you are an outcast, no one will talk to you, employ you or marry you. You are considered evil. But you most likely are a child of someone in the Black Marks. If you have red hair... you are dead. You are a Savior, it is your destiny to find a way to stop the Black Mark and save the kingdom. No one has ever achieved this and redheads are targeted by the Black Marks and never live past age 10.
