Never Give Up

Tom's rouse

At room 15 the doctor was examining Tom, his condition was so bad . That's  why he doesn't want Alex to know.
Tom was in a coma for two weeks and his organs weren't  working very well then,
Dr-Max heard a whisper when he turned around . He saw Tom trying to wake up .He opened his eyes and he was trying to talk , the doctor stopped him .
"Son listen to me .I'm going to ask you some questions and you just answer me by moving your head . If you moved your head up and down that means 'yes' but if you move it right and left it means ' no ' okay?!! " Dr-Max said.
Tom moved his head up and down (it means yes).
"Tom look I'm going to prickle you  by a needle in different parts of your body okay?"Dr-Max said.
Tom moved his head up and down. The doctor started to prickle his left leg .
"Do you feel anything ?" Dr-Max said.
Tom moved his head right and left. Dr-Max got worried and he tried with the other leg and he asked him again if he felt it but Tom didn't feel this one too , the doctor felt bad about him and he realized that Tom is paraplegia which means he can't move his lower part of his body or feel them . The doctor was quiet for a while then he looked at Tom and he saw him with tears covering his face cuz Tom realized that he won't be able to walk again. When the doctor saw him , he felt sorry for him and he tried to hold himself together and tried to give him hope .
"look son, it's not the end of the world, you shouldn't give up now ,you should fight back and make your dreams come true ,don't let your disability stand in the way of your dreams ,you have to be strong ,I know this is too hard and difficult for you but ,you have to endure  that , okay? " but suddenly something went wrong, Tom wasn't breathing so well and his heart was beating fast ,he was having a turn ,doctor hurried to help him , he took him to the emergency room as fast as he could ,and after one hour ,he saved him and returned him to his room .
After that ,he was thinking about Alex 'should i tell him or not?'
(he was saying that in his mind) then he decided to tell him , so he went to see him , when he enter the room he found Jack and Alex laughing, so he didn't know what to do he was quiet for a while then Alex interrupting him .
"Hi doctor what's going on ?! you look miserable , what happened? is everything okay? tell me is it about Tom ??? please don't leave me like this, please I'm begging you just tell me "Alex said while he was screaming.
The doctor didn't know what to say , then he looked at Jack and he found him a wake he went to exam him.
"How do feel Jack?" Dr-Max said.
"Some parts of my body hurts but I'm okay "Jack said.
The doctor came closer to see him but Alex won't let him. He screamed while holding the doctor tightly.
"Why did you change what we were talking about?, Jack is fine , just tell me where is my brother ,please"
(Alex said while he was crying so badly and he was griping the doctor ) .
The doctor push Alex's hands away and he moved toward Jack to exam him .
Alex left the room , cuz he realized that there is something wrong that happened to his brother but the doctor won't say , so he waited for him outside the room, when the doctor finished he looked at Jack and smiled , then he left the room saying nothing.
Outside the room Alex was waiting for Dr-Max to come out. When he saw him he couldn't move the doctor. Alex wasn't okay at all , his face was pale and he was thinking deeply.
Alex doesn't know what to do , his feet froze and he felt cold, he sat down thinking about his brother and his friend till he fainted. When he woke up he found himself in the doctor's room, he didn't know what happened .then " finally you're a wake, do you feel better??" (doctor said)
"Yes, I'm fine, but what happened? can you tell me ,please" Alex said.
"Yeah sure  , your blood pressure was too low and your breathing rate was higher than the normal range , so you fainted and I gave you some medicine and an Iv injection  (intravenous injection) and here you are healthy and good, listen you need to be more careful about your health and you have to eat well too okay?" Dr-Max said.
"Okay doctor, I promise you I will be more careful about my health " Alex said.
"Good!"  Dr-Max said.
While Alex was leaving the room he remembered something , then he turned around "Doctor may I ask you something please?" Alex said.
"Yes , you can " Dr-Max said.
" Please don't lie to me , just tell me the truth about my brother and my friend , I will accept it what ever it was , I promise " Alex said.
The doctor was shocked he thought that Alex has forgotten.
"Alex are you sure about that ?! but don't forget you  promised okay ?" Dr-Max said.
"I won't."Alex said.
"Okay then look, relatively Jack has chronic asthma due to the broken ribs that he got,  his ribs will repair with time , but the asthma won't disappear , it will be with him for the rest of his life , also he won't be able to see very well with his right eye , and the surgery will be useless believe me" Dr-Max said.
Alex was shocked from what he heard but he continued.
"What about Tom ?"Alex said.
"Look , are you really ready to hear about Tom ?his condition is more difficult than Jack ?" Dr-Max said.
Alex thought for a while, 'what the doctor meant ? why didn't he mention anything to me about Tom ? Is his condition really that bad ??!!! no.. no ..no ..be strong Alex you can do it '
'I trust you 'Alex talking to himself) "Yes!I'm ready just say it" Alex said.
"Ok, I didn't talk to you about Tom ...first because i wanted to be sure, everyday I was hopping to be wrong in my diagnosis,  but unfortunately my diagnosis was right , I'm so sorry, but Tom become a paraplegia , that means he won't be able to walk again , I'm sorry, I really am , we tried everything but destiny was stronger than us ,but you have to be with him and give him hope son" Dr-Max said.
Alex didn't believe what he heard . He left the doctor room and he was bound to Jack's room he was walking like a drunk person then he stopped , and took a deep breath then , he decided to go to see Tom , "Doctor where is he ?"Alex said.
"He is in room 15 " Dr-Max said. He was surprised, 'Is that Alex ?' said in his mind.
Alex reached room 15 , when he wants to open the door someone stopped him ...
"Alex we will go together ,okay?" (The one who touched him said) .

who is the one who touched Alex ?!  and what will happen?! let's know at the next chapter
