Never Give Up

The tiff

Alex froze, he was wondering who was behind him , when he turned around he saw Jack !
"Jack, what are you doing ? you should be in your room not here ?!" Alex screamed.
" Be quiet and open the door, I came to see my friend , I'm worried about him . Would you open the door please so I can see him?"Jack said.
"I will take you to your room. You can't stay here . You look so tired, lets go "Alex said.
"Stop please, I can't go back now , I came all the way just to see Tom , so please let me see him , please "Jack said.
Alex was worried about that, he didn't want Jack to see Tom right now, because  he was so sick , and Jack wasn't in a good shape  , but he doesn't have a choice,  then he opened the door. And when he did , he didn't believe what he saw .
"Is that my brother ?" Alex said while he was in a shock and trying to hold his tears.
Tom was on a wheelchair in front of the window he turned around when he heard the door opened. He drew a smile on his face when he saw his brother and friend , he didn't want anyone to feel sorry about him. Suddenly Jack passed out,  Alex was trying to wake him up but no respond , he ran to call a doctor. When Alex and the doctor arrived they found Tom on the floor holding Jack on his arms trying to help him , and he was crying. The doctor and Alex helped Tom to get back on his wheelchair and took Jack to the emergency room , then Alex waited for the doctor . When the doctor got out , he asked Alex to meet him in his office . When he was at the office , Dr-Max talked to Alex about Jack.
"Why did you let Jack leave the room?! his health condition isn't stable yet , what were you thinking ?!! I told you to be more careful not the opposite!"
Dr-Max said while he was screaming.
Alex was crying so badly .
"It's not my fault ! I didn't take him out of his room to see Tom , he left by himself ,
I have nothing to do with it , so stop yelling at me!"
Alex said while he was crying and screaming.
Dr-Max looked at him and felt guilty .
"I'm so sorry , I didn't know , I really am, it just....."Dr-Max said. Alex interrupted him "Why ...... why all these horrible things happened to me ?!! why my brother and my best friend?? why not me ?!! I wish if i was the one who gets paraplegia and not my brother , I wish if I was the one who gets asthma , and not my best friend?? they have a lot of dreams that they want to make it real !! They have long life to live , and a better future they were waiting for !!! why ?!!  why life isn't fair?! they don't deserve that !! just tell me why and relief me from this pain please !!!"Alex said while he was crushed and crying.
"life can be painful and difficult sometimes !! But that doesn't mean you have to give up , it means you have to fight back , and get up on your feet again and again how matter life hurts you and bowl over , you shouldn't show any weakness to it , do you understand me ,cuz that's what you have to show to your friends okay ?!!!"doctor said that while he was screaming on him.
Alex quite for a while then , "Okay , I can't promise you but I will try "Alex said.
Alex went out to see his brother , on his way he was thinking about what he's going to say , when he arrived , he was confused about opening the door,  then he opened it and entered he found Tom trying to stand , he ran to stop him and make him set down, when Tom saw him he felt little bit shy, 
"Hi Alex, how are you brother ? I missed you so much"Tom said.
Alex while he was trying to hold his tears as long as he could , "Hi brother, how are you? are you okay??"Alex said.
"As long as you are beside me I'm very fine. How about you?"Tom said.
"I'm okay"Alex said.
they were talking for almost two hours then Alex notice that there's something wrong with his brother , "Tom is everything okay?"Alex said.
"Yes , I'm fine don't worry about me."Tom said.
"No , you're not okay, tell me what is going on please brother !!."Alex said.
"It's just .... I can't believe ....I.....I can't walk anymore, I'm a handicapped person,
I will be a dead weight on you beside that all my dreams, my future plans and my goals all these will go away!! ..... It just.....It's unfair... It's totally wrong that shouldn't happen to me, please tell me that I'm dreaming please brother"Tom said while he was crying and crushed.
Alex didn't know what to do , he was burning from inside about his brother and about the way he felt he hold himself together ,
"look you can't give up now, you have to try hardly you have a long life to live and dreams to make it real , you can't stop now if every time life let you down and you just give up so what's the point of living just kill your self and end it , look you're not the only one in this universe who get paraplegia there are many of them but they aren't like you , they didn't give up the way you did, they fight back and they become successful people you should learn from them and be like them , I didn't give up on you so you shouldn't give up on yourself , you're going to be the most important pilot that I have ever seen just believe in yourself . Do you understand me ?"Alex said.
"Yes, I do understand you"Tom said.
"Good 😄"Alex said.
"Ok , I will go to see Jack now do you need anything ?" Alex said.
"No , just send my hi to Jack and tell him I'm waiting for him"Tom said.
"Ok , I will "Alex said.
while Alex was heading to the door Tom stopped him. "Alex wait"Tom said.
"Yes brother, what?"Alex said.
"I just want to say thank you so much for not giving up on me and giving me hope ,
I would be lost without you thank you"Tom said.
"It's okay, that's what brother for : ) so see you bro" Alex said.
"See you"Tom said.
On the way to Jack's room ,Alex found the doctor , and he saw him smiling , he get curious to know , so he went to ask him .
"Doctor why are smiling?"Alex said.
"Isn't allowed to me to smile?!"Dr-Max said.
"No,  it's just.... I don't know !! I felt like it's something about me, Am I right??"Alex said.
"Will , maybe!!"Dr-Max said.
"Tell me what is it please ?!"Alex said.
"It's just....look , I like what you did there , you were brave , thank you "Dr-Max said.
"It's okay, I did what I had to do, no need to thank me :) "Alex said.
"No , I need to thank you , cuz I wouldn't be able to do what you did there son" Dr-Max said.
"Well, you're welcome doctor. excuse me but I need to go to see Jack he is waiting for me "Alex said and he was proud of what he did with Tom.
"Ok, go"Dr-Max said.
Alex went to see Jack , when he arrived he found Jack sleep , so he set next to him till he woke up.
