PERRY’s P.O.V
“We can no longer get hold with our spies in the black pack. I’m afraid they were all discovered and slaughtered already.” Patrick Landon make his announcement as his pack convened. His dad is the ALPHA of the largest pack of wolves in their state. He is a strong and powerful alpha.
“We must send another spy to verify that Patrick.” Another wolf said.
“Oh c’mon! How many wolves are you going to sent to his or her death?” I exclaimed as I stood up. He can take it no more! For the record, they have already sent around 20 spies in the black clan and no one has survived.
“What’s your point Perry?” My father asked.
“Simple! They are aware of the fact that we’ve been sending spies on their clan so they already made precautions. We don’t need to gather any further information from them. We are all aware of their plan- to overthrown us! It’s a war!”
“But Perry it is not as simple as you think!” His uncle Edmund protested.
“We must consider the casualties Patrick. We have an unfinished business with the vampires and if we engage into another war with the black clan, just try to imagine what will happen to us!” another wolf speaks up. He is one of the council member just like his uncle.
“Then why are you so agitated about the fact of having a spy in the black clan?” I raised my voice as if I’m getting irritated.
“Silence!” my father with his loud and roaring alpha voice. “Before we lose contact with them, they’ve mention about abducting my son and cutting the bloodline of our pack.”
“They want me?”
“Yes! They want you Perry! That’s why you must be very very careful!”
“Oh c’mon father… I am no kid anymore. They want me? I will personally welcome them with an open arm!!”
“Growwlllllllllllllllllllll!!!! You are very arrogant! You’ve never been in a battle all by yourself Perry so stop babbling!!! “
“But father…”
“You are saying no more!!!!”
“Fine!!!” I was embarrassed by what my father has said in front of the council. With any second thought I immediately shifted into my wolf form. I make a loud snarl before leaving the council.
“Edmund, make sure he is well protected. Send some wolves and shape shifters to guard him.” My father said as he watched me leaving.
